I’ve noticed that most of the new ghost hunters don’t bother with EVPs at all. They’re usually very loud as they’re investigating and rely solely on REM pods and soirit boxes. It’s so exciting to see the adults doing it right - giving space for the spirits to do their thing, catching lots of EVPs, really investigating the building and the history. No amount of REM pod beeps can replace a good EVP. I’m excited to see more from you guys! 💕💕💕

@@SpectralParanormal yes, but it’s not the spirit talking. It’s a dictionary bank that throws out random words. If you want to hear a spirit, then all that’s needed is a digital recorder and a lot of patience. Either that or an ouija board and extremely trustworthy people using it, even then it can’t be proven it’s not human manipulation. Digital recorders can be checked for manipulation, that’s the only way you can prove it’s paranormal phenomena.

There is absolutely nothing going on here like the fabricated bs clickbait for views that have been coming out of here on youtube the past year or 2. This video from Jason's is probably the most realistic as it shows nothing happening. No one's yelling etc. Or saying they are getting scratched or chased out. It's cringy at this point.

I really believe that many of the staff at these places were just as "insane" as those that were admitted to the facilities; inly the torture and abuse they did was legal and in the name of "treatment". It's no wonder that these facilities are marked with so much energy. Great investigation Jason!
@moushimou31707 ай бұрын
It's interesting looking at the history of asylums, how they started and what they became. Asylum's started as private institutions where the wealthy could send their family members with mental or physical disabilities. Sometimes this was just to send them away, other times it was out of genuine care. Back then the facilities were over all positive places where people received good care that more closely fit their needs than what could have been provided to them at home. Then the government got involved, they had good intentions too, it's not only the wealthy that have loved ones with disabilities and other needs, there should be an option for those without the financial means to send their loved ones to these private institutions so state asylums were opened up but the intentions and philosophies of the private institutions were lost, instead in short time they became places to stick "undesirables" from every facet of society. They became overcrowded, understaffed, and underfunded. Staff had too much put on their plate, they had to give a basic level of care (Feeding mostly) and with so many needs and so little resources and people to go around, unfortunately important things were cut and residents were just given the ability to survive rather than the ability to thrive, conditions became inhumane and many of the most vulnerable fell through the cracks in terms of their care. Staff becoming burnt out despite most likely having good intentions initially fell into abusing and neglecting patients

The whole compass was beautiful and the buildings were awesome architecture. The hospital was creepy especially the tunnels but our dorm was classically beautiful. The better women patients would clean our rooms daily, we had to make our own beds and were told not to leave pretty things out on our dressers because the women loved pretty things and would take them. That place was a weird and wonderful experience for us!
