I recommend Juan Sauvageau, "Stories That Must Not Die." It was a collection of scary stories that I played (cassette tape) for my students when I was a young school teacher, many years ago. Another teacher, coworker and friend (R.I.P. 🥀), who owned the collection, would always lend me the cassettes every October. The kids really enjoyed the stories, based on real events. 👻
