Really good series of vids Mike...as per usual. How's that Altura rain jacket btw?

Thanks Lee! The jacket is surprisingly good, had it a couple of years now and it wasn’t expensive, just stumbled across it in a sale. Still waterproof and very light to pop in a pocket

That is such a shame that climb up Aubisque from Laruns through Gourette is stunning in the sunshine. Then the Cirque de Litour that links Aubisque to Soulor is quite simply the most picfuresque road i have ever ridden on a nice day. Hautacam... brave, veey brave. I think i wouod have preffered to have ridden Spandelles instead but your lunch would have been later.

Thanks Greg, I'll definitely have to go back and do them in the sun, and try Spandelles too. I think it would be a nice place to base yourself for a few days, tick a few climbs off!

@@MikeJenicCycling - If your gonna base yourself in the Argeles Valley then look at Pyrenees Cycling Lodge - used this place 4 times for various trips and they are always fantastic. Also had friends stay at Escape the Pyrenees and they liked that aswell. There are some stunning cols around that valley that are easy to miss as not ever been in the TDF.

@@Greg.Sutton Cheers, will check those places out!
