I’m 69 and have been cruising for years! I cruised with a bunch of cruise lines always in the cheapest cabins. Norwegian has always been my preferred choice! When I retired, my husband booked us in The Haven, and now we cruise a couple of times per year, and always in The Haven! It was a long time coming, but it makes me truly appreciate the wonderful staff, from the wait staff, cabin steward, to the butlers and concierge! We leave Friday taking our granddaughter on The Prima! She graduated during COVID and we couldn’t do anything then, so we’re looking forward to it!

I'm so glad NCL has something like this. I'm going start saving for my husband's 60th birthday to surprise him with a cruise on an NCL line with the Haven suites; I still have many more years to save, so I am glad!!! I also purchased NCL stock during the Covid pandemic and it's done very well so far, so a win-win all the way around. I've done research on NCL, Virgin, Carnival and RCL and so far NCL appeals to me the most.

We loved the Haven! However, I don't think it is worth 2 to 3 times as much as a Club Balcony. Just got to keep an eye out for those rare good deals.

Just off Prima Haven. Incredible suites, but sadly, very overpriced. They don't offer solo pricing, so it only makes sense if you pack 'em in to the max (which many people do). Prices for 2024 are through the roof! NCL's pricing helped me book on a previous line that didn't jack-up the prices. BTW, food is hit-and-miss on the Prima. Incredible (surprisingly) Indian food in Indulgences, but the Steak Frites in the Haven was awful. About 20% of the food was subpar, yet they still want $1,000+K per night.

Honestly, the more you push the Haven the more you turn off non-Haven customers like me.

I actually did not know about the Haven until I started watching KZbin videos and truthfully, now I want to save up money to experience The Haven. I am going to start saving and investing so I can surprise my husband for his 60th birthday many years from now...that's how much I want to go!

We had not considered any other cruiseline until this year. NCL wants to play premium. Well, we are looking at Virgin now. No kids. If we are going to pay that much, might as well not have kids in the casino like on the Joy! This was at 130 am. The parents were sitting in the booths, plastered, while there running and yelling kids kept running into my chair. When I asked why kids were in the casino at 130 am I was told it was a family ship? Ummm but, kids are not supposed to be in gaming areas. Lost my taste for gambling on NCL that trip. 🤷‍♀️
