I have heard that some bike riders use thermos flasks that contain ice and water in a ratio that allows the ice to melt by the time you need it. Non thermos flasks with ice in hand may cause freezing. A back pack might help in preventing freezing and still allow the non thermos flask to act like an ice vest. Experimenting is required for correct ice level and flask type. Of course cold water without ice could work. YMMV.

These words are on top of Parrys' words, not against them... Cut out processed foods (any food that has a bar code label on it) of all types to as high a degree as possible, cut out *all* soft drinks and ESP energy drinks, reduce fruits greatly... Eat fats & plenty of proteins ... Is this easy? *Gosh no because we are all bombarded with sugary \ chemically laden foods daily.* I eat chicken skin cooked in NON-Vegetable oils between my 2 meals a day ... Good luck...
