No I agree this project feels more realized and more thought out than NYD. Like, this duo with Rob Zombies bassist was a match made in heaven. They’re writing beautiful music together. NYD sounds like a side project compared to this band. It’s just so much more polished and it distinguishes itself from the somewhat cringy line up of bands like Falling In Reverse and Motionless In White that New Years Day always gets grouped up with
