The whole album is like they wrote a traditional fairy tale and put it to music. I actually had this album for a month before i ever listened to it. Now i sit and play the whole thing from start to finish every other day.

I proposed a girl for the first time in my life after dedicating this song to her. 8 years ago. Last year we got married and still this verses amuse me the same way. Its my dream to listen to these folks live.

Agreed. The steel solo made me fall in love with the song when I first heard it. It sounds like the tears of one's heart.

I got to see them on this tour. One of the greatest shows I have ever been to in my entire life. Shara Worden has an incredible voice.

I can barely get through playing on my guitar! I choke up every time when I get to the lines about "let's speak our vows in starry whispers" and "he closed his eyes and softly kissed her".........OMG!!!!

Bought the LP and loved it. Saw them on the tour and loved it. One of the saddest songs I've heard; the last verse gets me every time...

This is a great song. Surprising that it has only 400 or so views given that their new album was #1 last week.

Whats wrong with "too country like?" They combine traditional fold verse, archaic germanic storytelling prose, american steel guitars, and victorian language into an incredibly believable blend.
