So my oldest sister passed away 11 years ago, it was very sudden and it still hurts, her birthday was last week, it's always a hard time for me this time of year. I love this song and it usually makes me think of friends and family that are far away that I miss but tonight it just made me think of my sister and I'm just sitting here crying. Beautiful song

telly desiree it's good to remember the friends and family members who are far away from you. It is perfectly fine to miss them and cry. It is the greatest satisfaction to lose your focus on everything else, that's money, cars, mansions, jets and everything else in this world and only drop to family and friends. For that's the true meaning of life. To value other living things. It takes away the fear of death for you realize what really matters and achieving that is so simple.

I watched this live last year and I remember the first time I heard this song back in 2014 on a new girl episode. Heard it on my high school graduation, heard it in the plane on my way to boot camp, heard it in the plane on my way to Japan, heard it on my way back to the states after three years in Japan and lastly, hearing it on my way out of the military. Time flies, but still missing every single person I’ve met along the way. I will probably listen to it next summer when I walk the stage.
