Nice introduction to both. I tend to think that people generally should get closed back headphones first as they are more flexible they can be used in both noisy and quiet environments.

Good point, I agree! For someone buying their first pair of over-ear headphones, the characteristics of closed-back headphones are usually what they’re expecting.

There is no 1 closed back that is being well received at the moment, the Fiio FT1., thats going to be my direct upgrade from meze 99 classics. And its cheaper!
