Best wishes on your health journey. I too have suffered for years from adrenal fatigue/burn. Inflammation yes. Most of the damage is from internalizing stress. I appreciate the fact that you state 8 hours of sleep is necessary. I average 6 hours per night.... just simply not enough. My husband doesn't sleep well and he tends to keep me up (along with my elderly dog) ...... I noticed this when my husband was recently in the hospital and I was able to come home and sleep ..... with no distractions..... my dog would get up but settle right back down. I def feel better getting 7 hours sleep .... thats my goal this coming year 🙏 have a blessed week!

Hi Jamerril, just wanted to share my journey since October 2024. I also had adrenal fatigue, high inflammation etc. I initially went Keto to help me, I then came across a few Drs on KZbin and took the decision to go Carnivore for an elimination diet, I am able to tolerate grass fed butter which I whip into my coffee, beef, lamb and turkey - yumm. So far so good, my inflammation is down, my diabetes is better controlled (still on insulin at the moment, but a lot less), my blood pressure is amazing and we have halved my meds. I am no longer dependant on twice a day carers - in fact I have no carers anymore - which is a huge win for me. Not a huge amount of weight loss yet but I am much, much healthier. Planning on starting movement next month to help with the weight loss once my Dr says yes to me starting it. Good luck on your journey I hope you have as much success as I have - mainly good days mentally and physically - yeah x

I adore you Jamerill! If the elimination diet he wants you to try is Carnivore, I highly recommend REALLY giving it a shot. I have been highly inflamed and overweight and unhealthy my whole life. I got up to 343lbs despite being on every diet known to man since 12 years old. I gave up and had a gastric bypass in 2016, lost 100lbs ish, then 7 months later my gallbladder failed and had to be removed and my weightloss stopped dead in it's tracks. I was still stuck at 235ish for 7 years. July 2nd, I went carnivore and within 4 days the arthritis I had in almost every joint was gone. My anxiety and depression are gone, adhd is so much better and getting better all the time, energy has come back, skin conditions gone. I found out at 50 years old that I am lactose intolerant and since quitting eating it, if I accidentally get some, yes, it does happen accidentally sometimes, my gut blows up like I ate a basketball. Turns out my body hates everything but meat and eggs and I've been making myself sick my whole life. Even my seasonal allergies and asthma are gone. I hope you'll consider giving carnivore a real try, you can do anything for 30 days! Also, bacon kills sugar cravings. Good luck!

Hi Jamerrill, I have been dealing with arthritis in my neck and back and diverticulosis for over 10 years. Both of these things are exacerbated by inflammation. Your digestive system is the causeway for everything. I’ve been through the elimination diet. It does suck for the first week but after that your body will start craving what you need and your cravings for the things that are making you sick will diminish. And no I’m not perfect. I will tell you i. Have tricks for having pizza. Etc. I do not eat cow dairy but can have sheep and goat cheese. (Can’t do the plant stuff gross). So if you can have those cheeses because they are so rich and intense you eat less it get the cheese flavor you want. Manchego and pecorino Romano are my friends. Also I’m not sure what oils you use. But stay away from seed oils. Canola sunflower etc. they are really bad. Praying for your health wellness and your family.

I was having so many issues with inflammation, especially in my hands and feet, that my doctor also guided me on an elimination diet. I used the Whole 30 program and actually stayed on it for 60 days before I started adding things back into my diet. My culprits turned out to be sugar, dairy and gluten. Not gonna lie, it was a difficult 60 days and I STILL miss ice cream and my mom’s pumpkin pie😢 Having been pretty much sugar, dairy and gluten free for 6 years now, I can say the inflammation is virtually gone and I feel great.

I’m not a doctor, but I have two autoimmune diseases; rheumatoid arthritis and IGG4 inflammatory disease. Both cause inflammation in the body. Of course RA comes with joint pain and easy to diagnose but IGG4 can be harder to diagnose because it causes inflammation in organs. I’m not suggesting you have this, but if your diet change does not result in lowering your inflammatory markers, and with your kidney concerns, it’s something to consider with your doctor. BTW, my doctor never heard of it. I was diagnosed after having a biopsy and then referred back to my rheumatologist for care. Bless you in your Health journey. ❤

First off, thank you for sharing about your health. I know it had to be hard. I’ve faced some pretty significant health challenges myself in past year and I’ve been selective about who I’ve shared with and what I’ve shared. To be honest, I almost died. I went from having a medical team of just a PCP to now working with an endocrinologist, neurologist, vascular surgeon, glaucoma specialist and PTs. I’ve learned to get through all this I need to be my own quarterback. I suspect you’re facing the same challenge plus being mother and primary supporter to your kids. That’s so much especially with such huge life changes. Give yourself space to take on the health issues. I encourage you to document how you feel physically and emotionally at the beginning and end of each day. Your “data” from documenting your health is as valuable as any bloodwork, CT, X-ray or MRI. Make sure you share it with the members of your care team and if they diminish what you’ve shared, reevaluate them as a member of your team. You are the quarterback again. It’s you that will get you over the goal line in the months and years ahead. Be well. Be strong. Trust in yourself and continue to push forward. One thing I constantly tell myself is that when it comes to my health and life, I can’t change the past but I can absolutely change my future.

My daughter has SLE (Lupus) her right lung is disappearing and it attacks other organs. We switched her to a vegan/whole food diet and ALL her symptoms disappeared. It was incredible to see. We LOVE meat and have freezers full of deer meat but omega 6 was wreaking havoc on her body. We’re slowly trying to reincorporate it as we know there’s also good benefits from meat but less inflammatory meat. We upped her vitamin D3 (sublingual) to 20,000 daily and K2 to 200mg. She’s able to do this high dose because she’s dairy free. If someone is on dairy they CANNOT do this high amount of vitamin D as it will calcify the blood and cause all sorts of bad issues like kidney stones. Adding in high amounts of Vitamin D has COMPLETELY changed her life for the better. This is the first summer since she was diagnosed in 2019 that’s been “normal “ and she’s been able to function like a regular teenager. Her body has been through a lot in these 5 years as she’s almost died 5 times (once from septic shock from the common cold, Covid, RSV) We weren’t sure how her body would function after all this trauma but God has kindly watched over her time and time again. 🙌 so many doctors have marveled at how she’s still alive…BUT GOD! We’re moving towards more homeopathy for her future care and vitamin D has been crucial in her healing process and helping with inflammation.

I had adrenal fatigue stage 2 in my early 30s due to a combination of stressful life situation, sleep deprivation, and processing trauma. It was a nightmare, but I learned a lot. I had to make some lifestyle changes in order to heal including daily naps. Stage 2 is far worse than stage one, so I'm glad you're tackling this now with doctors help. One thing that really helped me get through the hard times was to lay down flat 5 minutes out of every hour to give your adrenals a break. They work hard when you're standing or sitting. The supplements made a big difference also. I did a ton of praying. God got me through! ❤

The research shows that once your cycle stops you can actually go back 10 yrs and that’s when perimenopause actually started. So even if you still have a cycle you can be in perimenopause. The symptoms you mentioned also align with a natural reduction in estrogen.

You’ve motivated me to start walking in the evenings after dinner. Don’t know if I’ll keep it up but I’m trying to get heart healthy. In other news, 5.99 for Bubba Burgers?!?! In NYC they’re $19.99! I’m officially jelly 😮

Yes, the stress load I think is the big thing that gets me. I’m dealing with a nightmare life situation and stress comes with it. My children and I are safe and fine but other stressors are a lot on my body and there’s no way around it.

I have been gluten free for over 10 years due to inflammation. I do not have celiac disease but my body doesn’t tolerate gluten at all. I feel so much better since eliminated it from my diet. I do very little dairy and zero sugar. Not by choice but because it gives me migraines and just feel lousy. Praying for you on your journey. 💗

How I first came across your videos, I think they were on FB, anyway very stressful time in my life watching you chopping/slicing vegetables calmed me. Almost instantly. Thank you, for that. Now when I cooking I enjoy slicing/dicing by hand more. So for those of you using your electric gadgets, try doing them by hand. I can’t always do it due to arthritis, but I do enjoy it.

So glad to hear you are taking care of "Mama". I went through something similar to you several years ago, ended up bedridden due to my body just saying NO MORE. With the help of a great Rheumatologist, some great meds and totally removing a stressful entity from my life, I was able to walk with a cane in about 9 weeks. A long road, but now am as active as I've ever been, albeit I am older and slower just due to aging. My doc has always said - the caregiver has to take care of themselves first in order to be a caregiver. So Mama, as your family's caregiver, take care of yourself! You have come a long way and doing great!

Im so sorry that youre facing the health challenges on top of all the mental and emotional challenges ❤You are doing so many amazing things for your body and soul, be very proud! Sadly its such a slow, very long road to recover from the horrible effects of stress. Be proactive, but also be patient. Over 6 years ago my body crashed due to intense stress and burnout, and hormone issues. I was constantly sick, my body ached, i was exhausted...exercise put me into a state of fight or flight, couldnt recover etc. I also learmed about adrenal fatigue amd the results of inflammation. I had high markers too. I chose to do an elimination diet and also juice a lot of veggies to help w inflammation and pre-cancer markers. It was a 6m-1y process of healing. To this day, Im still GF because gluten was a huge source of inflammation (gluten and sugar!). My body has never been the same since dealing w adrenal fatigue. On the day to day i feel good, have energy, im not in pain, can exercise again etc etc but i am soooo sensitive to stress and lack of sleep now. If im not able to get those 9hrs of sleep, or am dealing with high stress again, my body crashes again. It doesnt take as long to recover, but im sensitive to it all now. I feel the struggle to jist desperately want to feel healthy and whole in all ways...you are doing a fantastic job! Keep going, one day at a time, your body IS able to heal.

Doing a FODMAP elimination diet was a brilliant tool to identify my triggers for inflammation, IBS, migraines, brain fog and fibromyalgia.. It's not easy, but it's such a great tool to understand and heal your body! Good luck Jamerrill, your babies only have one mamma, and by making yourself a priority you're making them a priority.. Much love to you, from New Zealand xx

I started keto and then moved to low FODMAP. No added garlic or onion or peppers. No whole grains, except oats. No added fructose, sugar alcohols or fake diet sugars, or natural sweetners like honey or Molasses. White sugar or corn syrup or dextrose (aka glucose are our sweetners). Only eat fruit in moderation that had a larger percentage of glucose than fructose.

I love how proactive you are with your health; you’re a great example. My sister has some major autoimmune diseases that have plagued her for years. She found some relief from Sue Becker’s advice to eat only freshly milled grains. It was a big lifestyle change for her, but the effort has paid off. Wishing you all the best from Texas.

My two cents...I would try all whole foods..raw milks and Cheeses, organic whole grains...because many times it's not necessarily the gluten, but the gmo grains....and milk products are just trashed of a lot of nutrition. Azure sells raw milk Cheeses, yogurts, etc.. Add organic veggies and grass fed local beef, etc. And all that to say....stress is a HUGE factor in inflammation...bad OR good stress... I am praying for you!❤
@JamerrillStewart2 ай бұрын
Exactly, stress and trying to save my own life from an impossible stressful situation is most likely the number one culprit. I do eat grass fed meat and I do eat whole foods as I have been doing Trim Healthy Mama plan for over 3 1/2 years. I did lose over 60 pounds just by making those changes. But now drilling deeper into the inflammation me and my doctor are working to get on top of that. I do have my first Azure order placed in well over a year and I will be picking that up next week 😍🙌🏻

Sugar, wheat, dairy and red meats all cause inflammation. U must try and get your body in alkaline state the acid is causing illness. Ginger, bicarbonate of soda in water and lemon juice etc helps with getting an alkaline environment in the body. Watch Barbara O Neil on utube on inflammation in the body. Proud of u taking such good care of your family but remember u cannot take care of anybody if u are sick. God bless❤

Celiac here with inflammation issues. The gold standard for testing celiac is an endoscopy. I don’t know if your family has gone through this but blood testing is not always accurate. Also, for the elimination diet nightshades are a huge contributor to inflammation. Hope you get it figured out. It took me years, but it’s worth it.

My doctors told me it takes up to 3 years to recover from the damage and inflammation caused by seed oils. I’m going through menopause now so that has added some extra issues they don’t teach you about but are now coming out and finally being talked about. All of my doctors have told me to eat more like our ancestors did, get more protein and fiber in my diet, and get enough sleep and move daily. Estrogen drop from perimenopause and menopause will also cause inflammation. Caffeine use can cause issues too. I had to cut it out. We woman go through so much. Whew!!! Praying for you.

Hey jamerill I know how you feel about the dairy. I had to change my sons and my own diet for health reasons too but I found that when I just didn't buy the things that I wanted I was less likely to eat them. I know the struggle though. There are times I do have these things. I do feel better staying off them but it is hard at first. Now I don't even care if I have the foods we need to stay off of. The one thing I focus on more is healthier choices and now I don't have cravings. Hang in there.
@blessedmama0002 ай бұрын
I have the same struggle, I am not celiac, but gluten and Dairy makes me feel terrible, something I have learned is that most people (including myself) think* they're sensitive to gluten but it's actually all the chemicals, preservatives etc... that's in out food from how the wheat is grown and processed and what do the Dairy cows eat? How is the milk treated? There's so much contaminating our food and it's causing terrible things in our bodies, go back to natural the way God intended, like milling your own grain, getting milk locally if possible making, basically staying away from all processed foods and you'll feel so much better ❤

You should only avoid gluten, if your body can't tolerate it. Besides that one single reason you should NEVER completely avoid gluten, because it's essential for the body. That is an advice everybody professionally educated in that field gives, from doctors to diet specialists and whatever profession around that exists.
