Shubham what is the doubt? Pressure=density*g*h or you can also use this: 760 mm of Hg is 1 ATM so 150 mm of Hg = (150/760)*1x10^5. result would be same. Let me know if this clears your doubt.

Bhai pressure of heart is compared with pressure *rise* in Mercury In fluid mechanics we study *rise* in mercury maybe in barometer instrument And the rise of mercury level in barometer gives pressure indication Here rise means "height" till which the mercury level go up If you haven't studied fluids mechanics then you can imagine rise in mercury as seen in thermometer but for imagination purposes only bcz both of them are different So whatever is rise in mercury level is basically taken the height Like 760 mm of mercury means 0.76 m rise which represents 1atm in pressure Like wise just imagine a cylindrical container in which mercury is rising to 150mm that is 0.15 m height Now you have 2 choices CHOICE 1 :-- Convert this mercury pressure to standard pressure that is in terms of pascal or N/m^2 Like this :-- 760mmhg = 1atm 1mmhg = 1/760 150mmhg = 1/760× 150 It comes out 0.197 atm Now convert atm to pascal or N/m^2 bcz this is standard unit So 0.197 × 101325 = 19,961.025 Round off 20×10^3 N/m^2 CHOICE 2 :-- In ques the pressure of heart is compared with mercury pressure So rise in mercury pressure represents height as explained above ( bcz mercury is rising due to pressure upto height of 0.15m in cylindrical glass tube like container and the height till which mercury reaches represents the pressure in terms of mercury barometer This pressure is same as pumped by heart so hence we take this mercury height as height in blood reached due to pressure pumped by heart bcz both pressure are same ) ** So whatever will be rise given in mercury will be the rise in blood pumped by heart pressure ** Then solve as sir did

Power = F x V = Pressure x Area x Velocity We know, Area x Velocity = rate of volume flow i.e volume/time Therefore Power = pressure x volume / time
