This was not what I expected, but it was what my heart needed. Fr. Mike, I have met so many bitter former Catholics. Many who would tell you that being raised Catholic, they had not even been true Christians, or had ever really known Christ personally. The first response [from Catholics] is usually that they were wrong; they didn’t understand the real presence. But I think you can understand how awful it was to go through all of the church experience for years, and somehow miss Christ. You love Christ, and you recognize that we all need Christ, but don’t let anyone miss out on their personal connection. It makes people incredibly bitter.

To have a deep Faith and conviction about the presence of JESUS in the Holy Eucharist as we go to him JESUS HIMSELF have to touch us in The Eucharist. I absolutely agree with what you are saying otherwise as a Catholic for 48 years I experienced Jesus in The Holy Eucharist only at the age of 46. But i have been hearing about Jesus Real presence since my childhood. And my prayer to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist is that every one to have this experience.

Greetings 🫖☕ Dear Catholic darlings it was a rainy day in some parts of California I had my coffee with God today🙏 my adopted mum Della was part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, cheers to love......🤺💜🌹🦁 This Rose went to Saint Martha's Catholic school for 9 years I wanted to be a nun cause all I seen was bad at the house on meadowside street....I wanted to go to Sacred Heart or Bishop Amat.....Saint Martha's had their yearly fiesta and I would go with Della to make burgers for fund raisers we sold a lot of burgers it's about team work in making the church great

I pray for your son. My adult children as well, have fallen away from their faith. They were altar servers, I took them to weekly Mass and on holy days, but the culture got to them. I pray for them all. And indeed, I look at my own life. I also had a time of falling away, and I haven't always followed the church as I should. But God brought me back, and I thank my parents for raising me Catholic and passing on the faith. It took root in me, and thankfully I became back. There is hope.
