Lenin and the Bolsheviks could have humbled them down that they would became grateful and also appeasing to the White Russians to stop fighting, they could have united all of Russian after the Great War by that point. But no, they let their anger and bitterness get the better of them and they included 4 girls and a young boy to be massacred out of their hubris.

The girls were of marrying age. Any children they might have had would've been considered a threat to the regime as potential heirs to a restored throne.

We look at Tsarevich Alexei's last letter through the prism of contemporary people Tsarevich Alexei, suffering from haemophilia, had a special bond of friendship with the son of his personal physician.The last letter contains a lot of warm words addressed to Kola It is full of tender words addressed to his friend, he points to a particular emotional bond that connected the friendship of these two young boys In addition to Alexei's personal signature at the end, the tsarevich wrote the word end as if the word were a reflection of his prophetic premonition of imminent martyrdom It's like a sign from almighty God Alexi Nikolayevich Romanov died a martyr's death together with his beautiful sisters and parents from the Bolsheviks Rest in eternal peace you and all your family Robert from Poland Amen 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Although, the past cannot be undone, but let facts reveal the truth. Czarevich Alexei was an innocent child and full of life. He had the potential to be a conscientious leader, even if the imperial family be regarded as Ceremonial not Political at current standards. He was raised by a loving family. Czar Nicholas II was a good role model & took him everywhere, and did not let his disability stopped him. I see the gentleness in his eyes, his playfulness, his commitments to service to his community. Sweet Kolya still adores him to the end.

I think Olga and Alexei both knew what was looming on the horizon, basically what was in store for them and their family, you can see it on that photo 📸 from May 1918 when they are travelling from Tobolsk to Yekaterinburg and Alexei really doesn't look very well at all. I love the bit at the end when he's sat in an automobile and he turns and looks straight at you and nods. Tobolsk and Yekaterinburg are both lovely places to visit actually, just not easy to get to!!!

He was probably the last to die "in that room". The fact one of his sisters turned out to still be alive and sat up screaming (allegedly) in the truck wouldn't change that. And who knows maybe the story about Anastasia or Maria screaming was just propaganda to make people think one of them could have lived.

After hearing this, I pray that when this man passed, Alexei held out his hand and helped him cross over and they were hand in hand as this gentleman passed. This family didn’t deserve to die. Parents make mistakes all the time and usually with the best of intentions. The mistakes Nicholas and Alexandra made read like a road map to Hell with the best of intentions. Nicholas should've told his people that his kid was sick rather than hide it. He shouldn't have prosecuted the war the way he did when Russia was so ill prepared to fight it. I understand the mysterious need for Rasputin and his hypnotic healing abilities on the boy. I don't understand the parents' desire to let Rasputin influence political decisions to the extent he did.
@ashleyleonard8148 Жыл бұрын
I think it was partly to do with Alexandra's inability to focus due to the girls having measles, Alexei being ill, and her husband away on the front lines. It was easy for a male figure like Rasputin to step in. And i think Nikolaus was grateful for her to have comfort.
@williamphillips6049 Жыл бұрын
@@ashleyleonard8148 I'm sure there were many reasons. There always are . . She would constantly send letters to Nicholas advising him that "our friend" does not like a certain general or minister. Nicholas, with his usual incompetence, would do as she said and fire them.
@ashleyleonard8148 Жыл бұрын
@William Phillips I don't think it was incompetence. More like, trust in the wrong person. Nikolaus kept up on Politics. Alexandra, being so private and closeted her whole life, knew nothing but her narrow view. But he was so religious, he always believed God for example, put them together, and would implicitly trust her. Not incompetent. Just focused on the wrong "ally". She could be an ally in his marriage. But not in politics. Had she been shrewd like Elizabeth the Great, or Elizabeth the II of England, or even someone like Eleanor of Aquitaine. But she had suuuuchhh a basic and unrealistic view due to her own reality. Grossly uninformed.
@williamphillips6049 Жыл бұрын
@@ashleyleonard8148 "Gross" describes much of that guy's reign: He was unbelievably spineless and had a sickening fatalistic attitude. If diagnosed today; I'd bet he had clinical depression. Reportedly he was so unwilling to be the Tsar that he burst into tears when Akexander III died. He should've passed on it, but I can understand why: Family pressure, etc. It's too bad he didn't pass on being at the front during WW1 which also shows gross hippocracy. "Tsar" Nicholas would get reports or complaints from Grand Duke Nicholas and his response was frequently: "It's in God's hands". While imprisoned Red army guards would stick their bayonets into his bicycle wheels to make him crash. He would get up, brush himself off and ask them what he did to earn their hatred. I find the last Tsar to be something I stepped on. . . 'And he would agree.
@ashleyleonard8148 Жыл бұрын
@William Phillips I would say he definitely had depression. But was also taught that everything that happened was divine. We can't imagine why they were so devout. Cuz hardly anyone is now. It's how he was raised and taught. Also, he tried to give his brother, Michael the throne. The Bolshevicks didn't allow him to take it. Lenin killed more Russians in his short time, than Nikolaus ever did.

Whereas it was wrong to kill the boy and his family, in WW1 numerous teen boys, some as young as 14, were killed because of the conceit of the Kaiser of Germany, a relative. Absolute monarchs have done untold harm throughout history. I am not suggesting the Russian royal family at that time were bad, but there were such divisions in Russia. In any case, I would see Lenin and Stalin as absolute monarchs too. Maybe a constitutional monarchy in a democracy is fine. I'm open to argument on that point as any monarchy encourages the notion that some people are a better class than others through birth.
