Yeah, sometimes I don't know why they got the gifts they were given, that's how it was, and something that seemed sad to me about her gift of Dolores is that it would be tiring for her to constantly listen to what others say .. And also, like them, the Madrigals let their gift alone define their personality and that is why Dolores only almost repeated what she heard and spoke little for herself.

I feel bad considering Dolores got her powers at 5 years old and you can hear arguing fighting, bedroom talk if you will other things that are just very adult that five-year-old shouldn't be hearing. She hears everybody's farts

I feel like you didn’t really touch on Dolores personality, her home environment didn’t welcome the things people felt uncomfortable to talk about. I think she loved music and others have supported that theory as well (when she lost her powers she was singing so heartfelt & she was seen with an instrument in the original sketches). She kept the real important secrets hidden because she knew nothing would change if she spoke up since Abuela wanted everything to seem perfect and Dolores knew the imperfect things. Even Abuela didn’t know why casita was breaking, but once the actual question of what Bruno’s vision was before he “disappeared” was finally revealed, she knew she could say something and it wouldn’t be dismissed

I think that Dolores super hearing was very cool but must have been very hard since she had so many things she was suppose to hear she never got a chance relax and be her true self I think if Disney does make Encanto 2 they should have it be more focused on Dolores and her new life with Marino not just her super hearing.
