The resurrection and transformation of Lazarus, as seen in this video, is another example of the outstanding care given to the sickest street dogs rescued by Takis Shelter. Even more remarkable is the transformation of personality. Good medical care, good food, new dog friends, freedom to run and play in his area, and most importantly, unconditional love from Takis and shelter workers, turned Lazarus into a happy, confident dog not long after his arrival. I thank God for leading these two women to find Lazaros and for them to be so compassionate to bring him to Takis. Most people would be afraid to touch him. It was heartbreaking what this poor little guy had been going through and it took your breath away with sadness. Lazo is now running with the pack and has the heart of a lion. I love this little guy and his story.
