The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Showdown in the Badlands Delve into Deepholm Mini Set Deathrattle Warlock OTK combo deck is to use Therazane combined with Tamsin's Phylactery! We do this by playing Tamsin Roame, double Reverberations, eight copies of Tamsin's Phylactery selecting the Therazane Deathrattle, Plague of Flames, Mr. Smite, and a Mistake for the OTK! What's extra funny about first game, is that if priest didn't clear Mark's imp board, Mark wouldn't have been able to complete combo due to board space.

@@fitupan9474 Yeah, it happens in regular HS now too. I remember when Mark did his last combo where he hit the integer cap the numbers stopped 1 short of the limit even with additional buffs.

It's adding 2/6 to the stats for each Deathrattle. Thus the 114 attack.

@@argentpuck Since they all die at the same time, their deathrattles all trigger at the same time. Meaning they all trigger when it's a 2/6 (Since it is doubled from when the initial Therazane died)

It's DnD doubling. If you double something twice there it also actually goes x3 instead of x4.

To be fair, 2^56 would easily overflow the integer limit. That's in the quadrillions.

Looks to me like on the combo turn, it multiplies by the total amount of times it's supposed to double then adds that to the original minion, rather than doubling each one separately... Seven copies of Tamsin, each with 8 Therazane deathrattles comes up to 56 deathrattles. Since the original Therazane deathrattle made Mistake a 2/6, you end up with it effectively adding 112/336 to the stats. Gotta love Blizzard spaghetti code...

it adds the stats at the moment the deathrattle triggered, which works like doubling when it only goes off once, but not when multiple trigger at once

@@rego1100 I think so, Regis Killbin recently showed a shaman deck that makes multiple Therazanes, and the doubling worked as expected, except when more than one died at once

to people saying "the deathrattles go off at the same time, all seeing 2/6 mistake and adding that amount to the minion". you guys appear to be right, but it makes no fucking sense. in hearhstone, minions dying at the same time (to twisting nether, for example), will have their deathrattles triggered not at the same time, but in order the minions got put on the board. if you twisting nether your own sylvannas and enemy cairne, sylvannas will steal cairne deathrattle, if cairne was played before sylvannas. if sylvannas was on the field before cairne, she won't steal cairne's spawn because it will spawn *after* sylvannas goes off. this has been the norm since forever and this interaction with therazane is just a spaghetti bug, and not just an interaction.

The stats from the deathrattle are added to the minion... take away the 2/6 stats it had after the original Therazane died, you get 112/336. Blizzard spaghetti code at it's finest...

Deathrattles trigger at the same time in this case, that's why they double the first double and repeat at the same trigger, instead of one after the other.

Minions with multiple deathrattles are supposed to trigger them in sequence, in the order they were gained. If a minion gains a buffing or damaging deathrattle while it already has one that summons minions, the buff or damage can hit the minions summoned by the other Deathrattle, but if a minion with a buffing or damaging Deathrattle gains one that summons minions, the buff/damage will NOT affect the summoned minions. If multiple Deathrattle minions die from a single effect, their Deathrattles trigger in the order they were summoned (even if they didn't have a Deathrattle when they were summoned). As an additional note, if you double the Battlecry of Emeriss, minions in hand will have their stats quadrupled, and copying the effect with Bolner should also produce that result.

Heartstone runs on 32bit system the max value any minion or spells can get is little over 4 billion. you will never get 5 billion because the inhertent limitation of 32 bit system.

No, it doubles current stats. It's to do with how deathrattles resolve in the code. They all resolve simultaneously rather than one after the other, and the "current stats" doesn't get updated again during that process.

@@rivetace The thing is, Deathrattles DO resolve one after the other, in all gamemodes. If a minion whose Deahrattle summons another minion later receives a Deathrattle that affects minions, the minions summoned by the first Deathrattle can be impacted by the second, but if a minion with a Deathrattle that affects minions gains one that summons them, the summoned minions won't be affected.
