That's why it floods quickly Alan, the ground is bone dry so the initial downpour is like water flowing on glass! In the UK we have this after our unusually dry spells then the standard rain returns and chaos takes over and places flood very quickly 🙂

Hi mate, Same here. We had the first decent amount of rain in 3 months in Isabela two nights ago, but no rain since then. You can definitely tell the rainy season is on its way. Thank God as the heat has been horrendous this past month (every day over 40 degrees). I am sure us Brits will complain when the rainy season is actually here 😂

@alan4x Unprecedented heat these past few weeks in the Philippines and also most of Asia. It's been all over the news. We live close to my wife's family and the kids have been told not to attend school as it's too hot. Saying that, they also don't go to school when it rains! 😉

That was a fine looking adult iguana hiding up your tree. Adult Iguana are mainly plant eaters however they occasionaly eat animal material including insects (young iguana love insects) other lizards, eggs or small nesting chicks. Not much of a threat to adult chickens or ducks. I had one of these mini dinosaurs as a well loved pet for many years. They are of low inteligence but can become quite tame.

We are having Heavy showers in Jamaica yesterday and to day the temperature is 32C it's are we have picked up som Mosquito Bites even with replant on both thats what you have to put up with it theses Beautiful country's

@@alan4x dosnt seem to be but we had problems at at windfilled no 2 but i think it was problems with the water pumps that feed the tower no pressure for a week couldnt even run the shower lol first time i had to shower out of a bucket lol thats the first time since ive been here 2.5 years its a good area never have a brown out
