In my opinion, tuning low and chugging does not automatically make something heavy. Heaviness comes from the way you play, the chords you play, and the scales you play. Lower tuning and chugging is just a tool to make riffs that are already heavy more heavy, it shouldn't be used as the all in one way of making something heavy. I'd say that brutal death metal and war metal are the heaviest genres. While brutal death metal is usually tuned low and sometimes uses chugging, it's just used as part of the of the song, rather then the entire song just being chugging on the first three frets. I'm sorry that I got on an off topic rant, i just wanted to clear up the myth that lower turnings and chugging is 100% of what makes something heavy.

@@SuperMario9078 yes, i agree with you that low tuning and chugs are just a part of a heavy riff. If you really want to play heavy low tuned riffs, play the actual chords with scales instead of just chugging the whole riff

I can recommend you Ascera, Destard and Rot (deathcore thall). These bands have a very heavy actual riffs and overall a good sound

Never tried a Harley Benton before, but the one you mention seems nice. My first guitar was was an LTD M-10, one of the cheapest LTD guitars in the market, and I still play it all the time (you can see it in most of my videos). The newer Squier seems pretty nice too.

Thank you! I do pride myself in my ability to dial in tones. The single coil helped to be able to add more low end. And yeah, I guess you could say Thall is down tuned mathcore at 1/4 speed.
