Here are the answers to your questions: 1) לעולם Le + olam can mean "to the world" or "to a world" depending on the context. 2) It is usually pronounced le''olam, but can be la'olam in some cases. Hello. Yes, "David" and "uncle" have the same spelling. However, they have different pronunciations. So to ask the question "Is it David's birthday or the uncle's?", we can write this with or without nikkud signs: Ha'im zeh yom ha'huledet shel David o shel ha'dod? האם זה יום ההולדת של דוד או של הדוד? הַאִם זֶה יוֹם הָהוּלֶּדֶת שֶׁל דָּוִד‎ אוֹ שֶׁל הָדּוֹד? In fact, David, uncle and water heater are written with the same letters but have different pronunciations.
