Tewtiy when you get arch mage you get the t3s of all the other paths and also more damage and attack speed. That's why the bottom path is better because you already have fireball and the actual magic is what does the most damage so getting the pierce is more useful. Like so Tewbre can see.

The passive ability and dark shift ability is what makes the legend of the night good aside from pierce and attack speed however it lacks damage and is really expensive, the 050 does lots of damage, and a vengeful Sun god is expensive however it has tons of damage and can solo lots of rounds
