Swedish Rock band from the 90s and early 2000s. They broke up for a while (can only tour the US playing shitty clubs and going home broke so often) and now they've reformed to play a few big festivals every year. Check out the other bands affiliated with the members of this band: Imperial State Electric, Lucifer, and Backyard Babies.

I was already a huge fan when I finally saw the HELLACOPTERS in San Francisco some 20 years ago. The best Rock n Roll band in the world. I visited many record stores in Tokyo to assemble a full collection of their CD singles, EPs, and albums. Also, WOLVERINE BLUES is a Desert Island Disc.

Miles i haven't negativley criticized Dregen. I love the two first Hellacopters albums -- but since Strängen passed away this year and so much attention have been put on The Copters this summer; i can't stop thinking about him. I have met him a couple of times and that makes his abscene evident. He was a big part of the Swedish rock scene.

Carl Isaksson I wasn't being a dick first off. Second off just be happy the band still lives. I saw them in 97 in San Francisco and a few times more after that. This was the 5th show for me in Oslo. Nicke was a decent drummer. Granted he was extremely young in Entombed but check out their concert video - he is not all that tight. Great style though - he made Wolverine Blues just explode with his big rock fills.

Pienso que la muerte de Robert Dahlqvist le quita peso ya que la banda sonaba mas roquera y aparte imprimía un carisma excepcional a la banda en el escenario ( para mi sus mejores albumes fueron los de la era "strings") y ahora sin Kenny en el bajo visualmente parecen otro grupo, aunque en la sonoridad y la actitud sea la misma! hay que dar gracias que aun siguen sonando y rockeando estas grandes agrupaciones! Martin Persano Suenan a los primeros albumes que como explique en mi comentario para mi los mejores albumes fueron grabados con robert, o sea volvieron a sus raices, si te das cuenta tocan pocas canciones de la era robert, personalmente prefiero sus ultimos albums by the grace of god, high visibility y rock and roll is dead...es mi opinión y al final agradecí que sigan tocando (aunque sea por dinero) porque sigo la carrera de nick royale y en entrevistas anteriores cuando estaba de lleno con imperial state electric no habia ni una minima probabilidad de un regreso a los escenarios de los hella...la vida da muchas vueltas! Saludos!

Paulo Vasquez lo que decís es cierto. igual lo de la vuelta por dinero no te entiendo. Nicke siempre se quejó que no vivía de la banda. si hellacopters se separó es por lo lógico. mantener una banda no es gratis. hay que pagar ensayos. instrumentos. equipos. traslados. generalmente a las bandas que no les redita tocar y grabar discos se separan. ojalá que les vaya mejor aunque sea en esta encarnación con dregen de vuelta.

Claro que se lo que conlleva tener un grupo, pero ellos no eran un grupo amateur donde no grabaran discos, y menos no les pagaran por tocar, vuelvo y repito es mi opinión, me gusta mas el sonido de la ultima formación y las razones de la disolución de la banda no las tengo claras y tampoco me interesa!
