Challengers are Iconic. be it a V6 or a V8. The Challenger retains that Muscle car aesthetic, unlike Ford and Chevy who made their Cars into sports cars. I own a 2016 392 Scat Pack Shaker. I've literally never had a bigger smile on my face driving any other vehicle in my life. I plan to own this car for the rest of my days. Dodge definitely did something right with re-introducing the challenger. I am sad that the EV lines are attempting to take over. EVs are not all that they have been made out to be. I hope that Dodge realizes this and will Decide to continue to make cars with Internal Combustion Engines such as the challenger in the future.

44k on our 22' TRX as a DD for three toddlers.... lots of videos of our kids yelling for Launch Control and Sport or most recently BAJA mode on the way to pre-school/Grade School. Their memories and LOVE ♥/smiles/laughs and memories have NO comparison to TESLA driven classmates. One day around holographic campfires they won't be telling their grandkids about fun family times at charging stations, instead loud/obnoxious G-force launches from stoplights like a daily rollercoaster. That is the HELLCAT 'magic'.... oh and some complaints from neighbors/HOA about cold starts but that's my enjoyment too!

I’d argue the terminator cobra had a greater impact in the long run. It was a car that influenced a lot of what we see today. I think that plays a major role in deciding the best muscle car ever made.

I'm pretty sure if the greatest car of any kind was really the greatest, it wouldn't be canceled at all. Unfortunately, it was a great car for too high a price, and the legacy is being squandered by foreigners yet again. Based on people's general opinion, the Mustang GT is probably the greatest muscle car of all time, because it's never been canceled. They're keeping the V8 and manual choices. The Hemi can't even idle, is expensive comparatively, and doesn't respond to boost as handsomely as the more efficient Coyote. I appreciate Dodge for their history in cars (including making Ford and the Mustang even possible), but they stopped being the greatest by 1973.

The Demon 170 might be the fastest out of the box but nobody is getting their hands on those. Not to mention the direct competitor of the hellcat/hellcat redeye is the GT500, and even then the GT500 takes it in the 1/4 mile. Respectfully the only reason I think people glorify the hellcats and such (other than they are good cars at the end of the day) is the fact that the hip hop industry placed them on a pedestal…

Dodge made the hellcat they got sick getting their a** kicked by Ford’s Mustang GT500. Ever since it’s reintroduction, the Challenger SRT8 was already in an uphill battle. It was going up against the 2007-2009 GT500(500hp) their 6.1 Hemi has 425hp not enought. In 2010 the GT500 received an update that adds 40 more hp(540hp) then in 2011 dodge made an upadate of their big boy challenger with it’s 392 6.4 hemi 470hp. Good enough against the Mustang GT 5.0 and Camaro SS but still not enought against the also tweaked for 2011 GT500(100lbs lighter from the nose ergo better balanced and improved acceleration and additional 10hp to 550hp Chevy answered with their own supercharged monster called the ZL1(580hp) it now dethroned the GT500 and to top it off, it has the ride and handling to match it’s power, dodge on the other eats glue. But ford retaliates with a bomb, the 662hp 200mph GT500. It paved the way for Muscle cars to reach new heights. Then 2 years later mopar finally have their own supercharger beast the Hellcat. Not the greatest muscle anyway.

When the Hellcat first came out the other day”fast” car manufacturers were in a slumber. Ford, Chevy, Porsche, and on and on. Dodge came out with the Hellcat that for $70k would keep up with or beat expensive “super cars” Ford made garbage, and Chevy copied Ford with their garage. The Hellcat launched the modern day HP wars and the other companies were shaken out of their lazy slumber. So even if you like the new fast Mustangs or Corvettes they would have been the same ol crap if it were not for the Hellcat.

I’m pretty sure you left out how suddenly 22 and 23 challengers have cracked windshield because of body torque that was not fixed properly at the factory and the fact that Demons and demon 170s weren’t sealed right in Body factions in the rear end of the car Which may cause death if they get rear ended in traffic. You also failed to mention how the dealers are screwing people for almost $200,000 over what the car is actually worth and now the aftermarket is falling so bad that these people are upside down in their payments as opposed to what they owe on the car. I’ve owned two and I sold mine last year because I saw this, this was the biggest scam Stellis ever pulled on the American public and now they have fired all of their American workers and they expect us to just blindly walk along and follow them like their God.
