I managed to buy one for £60 down from £80 Ebay two years old. I would pay £100 or just to get the RAF version and do the hella in the NATO version but that just me. Keep up the good work

After a day out at the midland air museum saw this behind the counter for £47.99 so decided to get it for my son he’s only 5 so I will build it and put on his ceiling(with his c-130, 2 x Vulcans, 1 x lighting and 2 x jaguars…. Looks a good model and thinking of doing the NATO colours and keep it as it is in relation to the era, think it’s shocking that the after market parts are more expensive than the kit to make it a RAF Awac and it’s pot luck finding one on EBAY but a great video…. Keep up the good work 👍

Thank you mate! Yeah trying to get the Airfix RAF version on eBay is hard, and rarely less than £100! That’s quite a collection on his ceiling! Love it!

Just a quick on sir….do you have the pre-drilled holes on fuselage for the radar done supports as on my instructions it says they are present and can’t find them on my fuselage….

I have Heller kit 80383 of the French version but in this kit you get all the parts for a RAF version and engines. Don't know if this is still in production .

@@hardysscalemodels Tbh the heller one (Airfix) isn’t that bad compared to the old amt/Errl italeri a KC-135 which is utterly awful to fit together :) Good luck 🤞 I maybe will finish mine as it’s stalled :(

The engines on this kit are wrong. They are the civilian JT3D engines not the Military TF33 installations.

Yes I know. I’ll be changing them for RAF engines though so no worries.

@@hardysscalemodels I've got the Airfix kit. The RAF engines on those are a very good fit for the model, but you can try those conversions looks like they might work.

Be careful with the conversion kits- I did a kc-135r conversion… it was an awful fit :(

I did then Airfix one as a kid and it is massive!! That dome is it total about 30 foot across!
