Jayden is stepping up and balling out. His poise and pocket presence is absolutely impressive. He was the most impressive player on the field in any of the games. But we have to pump the brakes on the hyperbole a little bit. This is potentially the start of something special. But he is not an all time great. You cannot be compared to the likes of Elway, Manning, Brady, Mahomes, etc, after 18 games in the league. And while Jayden’s season was spectacular, Mahomes threw for 50 and 5,000 his first year as a starter and had his team a coin flip away from the SB. Jayden deserves all the praise for his season and performance last night. But let’s see how the playoffs play out before using something like “all-time great”

Now, let’s just suppose for a moment … suppose Washington has another upset in their bag of tricks, and beat the Lions, and advance to the NFC Championship. " Fast forward to what we know now... you know, the fact that the Lions were the most injured team in the NFL and no QB did to us what Goff did to the Hawks... Yes, I want the media to look back on that and give the man his flowers, you know, instead of being labeled a civilian Quarterback, like he got from FTF just last month. Jayden was great but I feel like this was more of a Bucs loss than a Commanders win and honestly, I hope the Commanders win the whole thing. The Baker fumble, the mismanaged clock, the early snap by the rookie center, Bucs penalties. I don’t want to take anything away from Jayden, he was great but we just kept running the ball when they were stacking the box in the first half of the game. It made no sense. So when the Commanders go up agains the Lions next week and the Lions throw 40 on them, everyone is going to say the Bucs were just a bad team and it wasn’t the Commanders time yet and this game will be forgotten. The Commanders just wanted it more, they went for it multiple times on 4th down and the Bucs kicked or punted. Just bad all around Bucs game.
