These summaries are really nice since im planning on rereading era two and wanted a quick but in-depth reminder of what happened in era one, so thanks for that. @@derekcox8165 Oh no worries I will get through the whole Cosmere. My goal is to finish Era 2 this year since The Lost Metal releases this week. Then next year I will tackle Stormlight so I can get them all done before Stormlight 5 in 2024. I am worried about the length of my summaries do you like them long? For instance if I do Way of Kings would you rather it be 45 min, 1 hour, or 2 hour?

@FatalxBlade As long as it needs to be! This video was very helpful and had the perfect amount of information to accurately and effectively summarize HoA. So any Stormlight Archive summary would benefit from having a similar ratio. I did some quick math based on word count of HoA and length of this video, and if a The Way of Kings summary had the same ratio of book word count, to video length, it would be 1 hour and 45 minutes. That sounds about right to me!

This is such a great summary. I just finished reading “The Hero of Ages” book and it is a masterpiece! Probably the greatest conclusion to an epic fantasy trilogy ever made. Brandon Sanderson is a genius and the epilogue almost brought tears to my eyes! 😢❤

Do you think you’ll be doing more of these summaries at some point for other Cosmere books? Like all books in Stormlight Archive, or Elantris, Warbreaker? As a subscriber of your channel I’d love to see you do these summaries for all the Cosmere books, including short stories and secret projects.

Yes! Absolutely intend on doing the whole Cosmere. For 2024 I am intending to release mostly Stormlight Summaries. Since the books are so big I'm releasing them in parts and then releasing the whole thing together when I'm finished. Part 1 will come out this month. While working on my Stormlight Summaries I will be doing one side video per month which you can vote on in my monthly poll. February's videos will be "Way of Kings Part 1 Summary", and "Every Single Hoid Appearance in the Cosmere". In my monthly polls I will throw in a Novella summary as an option since they're shorter. If you go to the Community tab on my channel you'll find the polls if they don't show up on your feed. Elantris Warbreaker etc will come later or in-between Stormlight books.

SPOILER WARNING: This is definitely answered in Mistborn Secret History which shows everything Kelsier is doing behind the scenes as a cognitive shadow. I haven't summarized it yet. If I remember correctly when the metal fragment is inside Spook he is always seeing Ruin acting as Kelsier. Similar to how for Vin she would see/hear Ruin pretending to be her brother. Now I think after Spook almost dies in the fire Kelsier does actually interact with Spook. Which ultimately leads to Marsh receiving the message about metal piercing the body. Kelsier intended the message for Marsh.
