I swear to god I'm not crazy. 12 years ago a Minecraft series called The Haunting was made, revolving around Herobrine. In that series there is a important plot element of 3 "Sacred diamonds". I recently found a mod that may be a nice addition! Its called Exposure and it adds a camera you can take pictures with, you then develop those pictures and can hold onto them, put them in frames or even in a photo album. I just think it would be really cool to take pictures of the dwellers and such entities, would add a more... investigative vibe if that makes sense.

You know im slowly starting to think Bree and Herobrine want to turn Calvin into whatever they are. I dont have any concrete proof its just a feeling I have because why else would they be showing him all this? "To make him lose his mind"/"Because they enjoy his suffering" aren't exactly great answers and a lot of the stuff they put him trough feels like they're either showing off their power (Herobrine lava\waterbending), straight up hazing him (remember the tunnel with Bree, TNT, the diamonds and the Steve dweller?), and now with the rescuing Bree from the Twilight Forest, that felt like a test. I worked out a way to enter the Twilight Forest portal even with the barrier blocks above: - Dig three blocks down, two blocks away from the portal (so all blocks adjacent to the portal remain) - Dig a tunnel in a straight line toward the portal so you have a 1x2x3 tunnel (1 block wide, 2 blocks tall and 3 blocks long) - Dig up to reach the portal. The portal will break and the water will fall down but that's okay - Place a trapdoor where the block you just broke was, so it stops the water from flowing down. You'll have to place it on the upper half of the block so that when it's closed it's flush with the tops of the other blocks directly below the water source blocks - Stand directly below the trapdoor, open it and throw a diamond up into the water. Then close the trapdoor and the portal will reactivate Then you can enter the portal by opening the trapdoor and jumping Please like this so Calvin can see Edit: You will still be able to leave the Twilight Forest afterwards. I tested with the barrier blocks in the same places as in the video and they do not affect your ability to leave. When you use the portal to return to the Overworld, you'll spawn standing next to the portal if you used the one at 5:34 or crawling on one of the blocks with the flowers if you used the portal at 6:06 (the flowers will Wither you, however, so bear that in mind)

The only problem I have with that mod is the jpeg jumpscare. It's the cheapest type of jumpscare and makes me just not wanna play the mod if out of the blue I can just have a scary face pop up on my screen with no warning and a loudass scream accompanying it. Everything else about the mod is by far the best of these horror mods aside from From The Fog (Herobrine) itself.

I think that the scariest thing about herobrine and Alex is that they look like players. they don't act like regular Minecraft AI. They walk like a player, interact with the world like a player, they can even use other mods! (Alex's signs, Herobrine using the soul mourner (golden Katana), herobrine threatening Calvin with a cave dweller spawn egg, the use of reinforced block in the haunted cave, etc). They even transform the terrain after world generation like a player terraforming!
