Have you bought the HG Bael 3rd party part set? It’s for the wings of bael to show off its flying. I remember it was being sold on AliExpress back in fall-winter 2023 but now are currently sold out.

Funny that mine is still solid after 2 years even tho i played a lot with it, and it's not even Bandai is but Daban's 😂 Remember that IBO Gundam frames are devils which need some sacrifices from the pilots to pilot them, example: 1. Barbatos: limb functions 2. Gusion: happiness & love 3. Flauros: luck And Bael's would be intellegence.

My brother gave his to me and its still a solid kit and covered the hollow gaps with putty. But its just funny how you put Bael next to the other frames and he'll be 19 meters (any Gundam that has bigger feet and heels) rather than the wiki's stated 18 meters on flat toes.

I know this kit is not that great, but I love the color scheme and the shape of the Bael. I like that the feet are big too, it gives it a more balanced silhouette with the shoulders head and backpack making the top very large the larger feet help to balance it, at least that’s how I feel. I do wish we get a nice MG of it eventually because I really like this mobile suit design, after hearing the MG Vidar announcement mg hopes for MG IBO are rising slightly but I’m not that rowing in all my chips on that one, I still know Bandai will do that MG Vidar, ignore it, then 7 years later we get another MG IBO. With Bandai seeming to downsize and dumb down things lately (though I did really like the announcement of MGSD, that I’m ok with) I doubt we’ll get a lot of MG within the next couple years with the global economy still being harmed because of many different factors. But I do really want this kit even though it’s not the greatest, I think a nice couple layers of paint or clear coat on the frame and maybe give it some shields and do some kitbashing and we can get something really cool. There’s many times where I’ve almost caved and spend $100+ buying as many HG IBO as possible because they are SO kitbashable.

Did you see that they’re finally releasing the 1/144 ibo frame upgrades? I think there’s one resin upgrade and 2 alloy frames. Effect wings has a couple different options whereas Iron toys just has one.

That fight vs Kimaris Vidar was ridiculous, he threw 1 of his sword which was still functional as a dagger, losing any slight advantage he had in that fight.

Ya, I watched it again last night. Sure the tip broke, but it was still useful when you only have two swords, and wing guns that look like they need to be close to use effectively.

If we're only counting Exia's gun as a "ranged" weapon (you could consider the throwable beam daggers as "ranged", but I think that's silly), then Bael has two to Exia's one. Both of its wing binders have a cannon embedded in them- if memory serves, it's more of an EMP than a beam cannon.

I really hope that a third party company makes a replacement inner frame for the Gundams, because I've never had any luck with any of them besides the Hajiroboshi.

Personally, I don't like the Bael because of its plain design compared to the rest of the Gundam Frames, like the arms and legs.

I can see that. I personally like the all while with just a bit of color. It stands out compared to the other gundam's in the series.
