Carpet underlay is for noise reduction, this aluminium style shield is good for heat reduction.

Hi Mate, How much you think it improved the cabin noise when driving on motorway? Is the engine 2.8 diesel? Tks

So am I. My Hiace has no aircon and I live in a hot climate. It has helped a lot.

Loved all the videos but super curious why you’re bothering with insulating the front seating area? Cheers mate!
@rickyhorsburgh65813 жыл бұрын
The engine is below the seats so alot of heat gets radiated up

do u have heat come through the handbrake can you feel heat while driving??
@AT8Films7 жыл бұрын
Only slightly. It was worse on my old Townace. Really the whole bottom of the cab would radiate heat and the insulation has helped stop that.
