The Hidden Cave of Carvings - Isle Of Wight

Well tucked away in the woods lies the cave of carvings .
Many carvings, some very old, some newer.
Some very artistic, some dark and mysterious, some rude/ fertility based ?

love the fact that no one likes to say or share where these places are. like they own them or the right of passage to them. seem to have ignored the question on a few of your videos hey??????????

I've shared many (but privately) :-) & traded places with others like myself. To pretend we own them or claim passage would be silly.. (I prefer not to ask where places are myself... (Half the fun is hunting them down. ) :-) (I've found quite a few places whilst searching for others, and have been informed about a couple of places by people I've helped whilst they were looking for places I've posted. Sadly some of these lovely carvings have been defaced since I posted this.. (It's because of people doing this, or a lot worse at some places, (vandalism of property etc) that I prefer to hold back info on a selected few.. Some places I've visited I've not even posted, as I have agreed not to with the land owners who have been kind enough to show me around some of the islands hidden treasures on their property. :-(

You may want to try coming back in the evening with "tea candles" those short round candles women always have around the house. There are spicific cubby holes and pockets in different areas of the walls i noticed. I came across something similar inside a 3 miles cave system in pennsylvania off of the susquehanna river. There was a "Cathedral room" that had all these pockets carved into it and we had candles with us so we set them all up in the pockets and it illuminated the entire room. It was a really neat thing to partake. I don't know how "mysterious" the isle of wight is but maybe if you put candles in the obviously old old pocket holes the light may cast over something specific? Probably just watched to much national treasure movies...is it true the Long Stone is a center piece of ancient druid/ pagan practice? Soltice/ moon worship etc.

Going to isle of wight end august would love to go to this place.would love to know how to get to it.....and i promise i will not deface . some people have no respect and that is bad.

Naughty or not, the elephants have it for me!! Just wish I knew where to look for them! Getting withdrawal symptoms now as IOW is a favourite place to escape to (in fact, having watched IOWA's numerous offerings and yours too over the last week, I actually bribed my other half to jump on the motorbike with me and came over for the day last weekend!!). Roll on May, when I can spend longer.....

Judy Brooks I have uploaded a picture of the outside of this place from 1961 here .plus.google.com/+ISLEOFWIGHTARCHIVE/posts/ULBsp2sUGeb it makes it really harder to find as 50 plus years later its even more overgrown and looks nothing like this from the same view .I can`t reveal its location as IOWAA is bigger than me and might beat me up or steal my pocket money ...
