13:18 Jaw open. I'm new to this channel, but these are some really cool sounds, coming from stuff that's not even "musical" instruments. Great textures, all the layers, sounds, and rhythms working together so well to create something that almost feel like it's from nature, like it's "alive". Beautiful. Thank you.

I will write and you should write the song called, "Daughter's Stolen Piggy Bank," and we should consider what the emotional attitude should be. There are many emotional responses that I feel from very far away, converting american to german: pissed-off-ness, extreme-yet-strange sorrow, macabre laughter, and then aufhebung, perhaps to lift up above it all.

that 8006A is pretty pricey on ebay ($3K?) I made a subset of this on a breadboard in class out of 8-bit shift registers (74HC165 I think?). you can stack them to make 16-bit, 24-bit, etc. and you can make a second set of shift registers to carry a reset bit (as a ring counter) letting you restart the loop at any point as in setting the sequence length. chaining into another one of the shift register is easy, and shit it in the other end and have it play forward then backwards each cycle. (weird). should there be some DIY kits or something to build around a few 74HC165 and 74HC595 chips? I'm not turning up anything obvious on Tindie.
