A very goog analysis. In the "On"-MV I also found another connection to "Singularity" and "Fake love". Jins looks at a coat-hanger, a symbol, wich was already used in the "Singularity"-MV and then in "Fake love". I strongly believe that they tell us their story with their songs and videos. If this is true then let me say, that the world would be a much better place, if only half of the couples on this planet would treat each other so protective, suportive and lovely as our beautiful Taekook. I live in a country, in which LGBTQ rights are on a very high level and gay marriage and adoption for gay couples is possible...it´s so sad, that a pure love is still seen as a stigma in so many countries.😥

Spot on. Beautiful analysis. I always knew these boys are hiding under a mask. Global success, scrutiny, home bound expectations, cultural norms and Honor, youth, love and sexuality discovery, role models, life experiences. They were bound to hide something for themselves. I dont lknow how I missed this last year probably cos I was very ill with Covid. I completely agree with everything you say I understood about the black ink and the thorns too. Ever since DNA mv being based around Taekook and Taes Stigma and Singularity songs Ive never doubted them being part of the LGBTQAI+ community. The fact they have to hide thats why there were cuts by Hybe in their interactions as S korean older generations are still homophobic. I dont believe it was done to hurt them but protect them and therefore BTS. Its such a shame that in this very advanced world there are still many prejudices. Thank you for sharing this. I have felt for a long time that BH is actually trying to help Tae and JK become open in their relationship. BH is (or should be) known for their incredible use of symbolism, metaphor, and analogy. They put so many 'easter eggs' in their videos it's sometimes hard to find them all. Good analysis but this isn’t the first time v and jk have been made to stand out amongst the other members, there was this vid of the boys running as like glowing cgi and all the boys were glowing white except v and jk who were black and there was another video with them in head shots with a glowing light around them and all the boys were glowing red except v and jk who were blue now what their trying to convey or tell us idk but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s usually v and jk made to stand out a different from the other boys not different in a bad way but just different I feel their trying tell a story without flat out saying it like with the dna mv as well which is clearly about jk and how he sees the members and v in his life and v is made to stand out in that video as something very special to jk, jk also keeps saying one of his goals is to be 100% himself but he’s not there yet so it’s just one of those things we may never know the answer too but I hope Kim taehyung and jeon jungkook can one day be 100% themselves (whatever that may be) and happy

I want to say once again, although it is considered a sin in the bible. same gender relationships are not wrong. We can't help who we are attracted to, fall in love with. Love is a combination of many emotions, values and needs. Both physical and psychological. Touch is one of the 5 senses that need fulfilment for completeness. Intimacy in love is just another way to show how we feel and so, should not be demeaned or frowned upon. Taekook grew up feeling love from e/o , in all it's forms. In adulthood they may choose to act on those feelings. They are human and it is only human to love. I am a married woman, by the way. Recently my best friend, who was married to a man for 23 years,, ended the marriage. Two years later, she found a new love with her female partner. It does not change my feelings for her. Because, love wears many disguises. 💜💜

I like this analysis. But ... 6 years ago RM covered his face (picture used for de rom/eng lyrics from Awakaning) also half in black. I think it is oil because in the mv he covers his face with bandage and later on their is a face with bandage set on fire. In the mv RM hasn't black on his face. I only saw the picture. I think the meaning is different with Taekook (and I really like their smirks!!!)
