We should abolish Students Unions. The age for running for office should also be raised. If one has to be 35 to become the President of India, that threshold of maturity must apply to all elected officials.

There are many inconsistencies like this. One has to be 25 for becoming MLA/MP. But, the person electing MLA/MP can be just 18. It's like a clerk electing his superintendent. A person is legally a child upto 17 years, 364 days. But, the very next day, he gains every wisdom under the Sun, incl electng his ruler.

The best thing that can happen in Bangladesh is the American dictat to their Army to hold elections in the country with all former recognized parties and order Md Yunus to pack up and get lost. The US must warn Bangladesh that not a single dollar will come as aid without an elected government in place. Far as India is concerned, India should have nothing to do with that country.
