The chaining of the dogs to their inadequate looking dog houses is the worst part for me. What's even worse is that problem is not unique just to sled dogs, many companion dogs are also chained for life and suffer though very sad miserable neglected lives.

Just like hunting dogs.. have you heard of "sled" dogs, dogs that love to pull. I have a husky and no matter what.. training by me and a facility.. he loves to pull things. Me included. This stuff is crazy as hell because why cant they be family in house dogs. They are using these dogs for the absolute wrong things. My dog likes to pull the wagon for the kids. He grabs the leash himself and grabs the wagon. But im sure these dogs just want a break from standing in the same spot everyday and freezing their feet off.
