Nemanja, I have followed your channel and have enjoyed the tips for the past few years. This, however, is BRILLIANT! I have used these techniques for different application but never thought of using the Difference Blend Mode to make a selection in channels. Very neat trick. I do a lot of green screen work and Color Range is usually my defacto selection tool for fast, coarse grain masking. This technique gave very similar results but definately captured more of the blended green areas where Color Range is limited by just what is set to it. This still struggled with fringing a bit, but subsequent adjustments through Refine Mask / Select & Mask were much, MUCH better than a standard Color Range selection, so kudos this gives great, fast results!

Oh..the time I’ve spent attempting to get there with the magic wand, lasso, colour tweaks and 👿 Never gotten these good results with structure and details. I see you use the Curves tool a lot. I’ve always preferred Levels. Can’t you do the same with both?

You can do a lot the same with both, but not all. I prefer curves because I have more control and options with them.

Another quick tip: You can make hue/saturation box wider by dragging corners of it so it would make it lot easier to isolate the range of colors because you will have more space to move the sliders. Btw Great channel Nemanja. Hvala puno.
