I got stuck in deep conspiracy rabbit holes, only years later after exhausting my self I realized we live in some kind of matrix that was sucking the life out of me. I came across Alain watts and listened to him every night, started meditating. As mentioned in the video, Christ is not a name but a state of consciousness. I grew up in a country where Orthodox Christianity is the main religion and noone nowhere ever such in school or church, want to teach this reality. For me Jesus was just a normal person like any other but he raised his spirit and expanded his awareness so much, he basically experienced ultimate reality (what we call god). Same thing with Buddha and any other highly spiritual figure. Maybe, as individuals had very high potential for spiriual growth. You know, like some people who have incredible athletic potential. In theory we all have the potentiality to evolve spiritually at the level of Jesus, but it's a matter of how much one is willing to put his/her ego aside and embrace experiences that so few have experienced. Organised religion is yesterday, old news, but it will take time for humanity in general to realise that, and I don't see it happening in the years where you and me will be alive to see this. Through each one person, the collective consciousness rises, slowly with baby steps, more and more people get involved in spirituality. Spirit is who we are, our true nature.

I, being a “Christian” for well over 45 years, have been deceived for all those years because I was taught and believed the LETTER of scripture, and not the SPIRIT of it. I was on a proverbial hamster wheel, exerting all my energy into “being a good and godly man,” and was going absolutely nowhere spiritually, aside from accolades from men, telling me what a “great evangelist” I am, and what “heavenly riches” were in store for me in the afterlife. I escaped that huge deception, and in the process lost over 50 people who claimed to love me and never forsake me because I had “backslidden” and “deceived by the devil.” Sheer desperation nonsense to keep me in bondage along with them. I am SO glad those people are out of my life now, and that I can grow in Christ consciousness daily. This is a wonderful path I’m on, and the best thing about it, NO self-proclaimed Christian “man of God” will EVER have dominion over my faith again. Very informal accurate video. I’m hoping to help free more and more deluded “Christians” from the false light that they’ve believed for so long.

Fascinating food for thought! I have heard this approach to Jesus' teachings other times over the course of 7-8 years of desperately seeking the truth, falling away, being fed up, becoming inspired, and just all over the place in the world of spiritual seeking and believing. I have been trying to heal from a lot of hatred and anger i developed towards Christianity because that is what I was raised with and was anxious and terrified and lived with so much shame and victimhood. Leaving the religion set me free and allowed me to grow and develop into who i am today. I am now feeling pulled back to the Bible but instead of taking it as a whole, fixating on the words of Jesus, and the massive shift in perspective has made this a very different and more positive experience. I have believed for quite a while now that all paths hold truth, but we need to weed out the fiction to see it. We can find God in many different ways and the idea of Oneness I do believe is a humongous part of it and something people miss. I am striving for balance and peace in my life and i believe this is a central part of gaining those things in my life. Everything is connected.

I am experiencing a very similar journey.... Being raised in the south, religious doctrine was certainly a dominant part of my youth... I have been on an awakening journey now for over 3 yrs and believe as you, there is truth within all doctrines, but I believe there has been alot of human ego implanted to develop control of the masses. I have been digging deep and have gained better insight. Sarah has been very enlightening with sharing her knowledge and views. Concerning the Bible, I have read several times through. Now I am reading but looking at original translation of words and their meanings and context. There are certainly differences that can change the context.

You just clarified something fundamental for me - I have noticed that the current fakedemic smacks very much of the neurotic smother-mother archetype, like the cliche overprotective, hypochondriac mother afraid her children will catch every illness under the sun. This is in stark contrast to the previous masculine archetype of "she'll be right mate!" and rugged individualism. The radical left is also smothering the masculine energy. I hope the two poles can balance within themselves and harmonise together soon.

I do not regard the toxic masculinity as expressed in American culture as true masculinity. If anything, it is ego centric with largely insecure men trying to show their real men through guns,music that says real men are in bars drinking and looking for chicks, otherwise known as bro country, which lacks the sensitivity that old country artists had in their storytelling. Hip hop is another expression of this I ran numerous workshops on healing the masculine soul. All this Rambo John Wayne real men act this way with violence garbage has messed up the minds and souls of many men, making it hard to express themselves openly and honestly from fear of not looking like a real man. Yes, you have to stand up when necessary but violence is not always the answer. Liberals are not snowflake men lacking no strength, they realize that true masculinity has a sensitive side as well, and have empathy and conscience for people who are not as fortunate as they are. Many know how to exhibit real balanced strength. Again, not all liberals any more than all conservatives are radical fascist or left wing oriented people. While you have your views on this, I saw the damage done by people that not wearing a mask or refusing to get vaccinated out of misinformation and fear and selfish expression of so called freedom to do what I want. Meanwhile the ER in the hospitals I worked at were being filled with dying unvaccinated people. the real heroes, the front line nurses and docs were pushed to the max to save their asses. Some infected people refused to take known drugs that can save their lives while infected out of fear of dying because of the misinformation. Most wound up dying. Working in an ER and ICU is like being in a mash unit during a war. And don’t tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Unless you work in health care, you don’t. This Covid virus is hardly the fakedemic you think it is. Go read some history on the Spanish flu of a hundred years ago which took out my dads parents. Read the actual science on how viruses work on the cells. We’re going to have Covid for a long time, just as the flu of a hundred years continues to mutate. As my Swedish ENT and other European friends said to me, Americans are immature and lack all sense of the commons welfare of all and have taken individualism to a toxic extreme. How many would be as brave as the men and women of Ukraine are in trying to save their democracy. The right wants a civil war, The right doesn’t know what war really is unless you’ve been in combat. You think that the majority of Americans would fight once the bullets started being fired at you. It’s not holding guns, wearing military gear and thinking these are real men. This only leads to anarchy and the dissolution of rights for everyone. To continue, he said that we in Europe know through hundreds of years of political wars done in the name of religion and the fascism of a hundred years ago that almost destroyed us that separation of church and state is an absolute necessity. Society cannot exist as long as people divide and don’t care about each other. You Americans, he said, are walking down the path we already traveled. We know that authoritarianism doesn’t work.

I went to a Catholic school for 11 years (3yo preschool-it’s grade). Those teachers taught us the Bible, obviously, but they also wanted us to know that this book has been translated many times and was written in a time when many people were illiterate so they had to speak in metaphors… pair that with the many translations and you have a lot of text that can be open to interpretation on several levels. It was ALSO written in a time when Church was State. So teachings also came in the form of “crowd control” for a lack of a better term (it’s early and I haven’t finished my coffee 😅). I’m so grateful my teachers taught us this way because it contributed heavily to my views today, not just of religion/spirituality, but in thinking critically.

The Orthodox tradition is unchanged. The Gospels were written in Coptic Greek, the original language is preserved. which is not very much different to any other translation. The interpretation is the problem. So what you heard was an uneducated lie. The Catholic Church offers incredible healing. But many don’t know why it’s done. Basically, the heart needs To be cured of spiritual blindness to see God. Life in communion restores corrupted life. Treatment of the heart continues by purifying your actions and thoughts. the Rosary rehabilitates the heart. In other words the Rosary purifies the heart and teaches you how to see God.

Starting with the distortion of his name, Yeshuah into Jesus, all the church teachings have been a cynical and controling masquerade. This is why I left the church as well as religions altogether from the age of 14 years. I have been walking the path mostly alone, from shamanism to Hindu practices and masters who initiated me to the concept of ONENESS. Then, I discovered the gospel according to Thomas in which Yeshuah is considered an enlightened master and his ( very aware) disciple Thomas simply records the master's words and they are close to buddhist teaching, always reminding that one should seek to enter the "bridal room" in which the opposites are united. I've read much Buddhist teachings, also The Course of Miracles, the Gospel of Tomas and tune into Greg Braden and John St Julien Babbayaga when things get a bit jangle, oh and Eckhart Tolle. I remember someone telling in their NDE that the Being who was with them during the experience said that God is closer to you than your elbow! Christ Consciousness is what you experience when you are enlightened...it flows through you. John 14:15 Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep my commandments." Nothing is so simple than that. However, the Pharisees hate this concept. They bring more people away from God. Repent and be humble as Jesus. Come to Him through the Holy Spirit. Read the Bible. Jesus is coming soon.

The 4 Gospels are pretty good place to start. Entire accounts about Jesus and what He said. Also, ever hear of His mother? Her name is Mary, you can actually talk to Her and she will help you get to know Her Son, Jesus. If you seriously approach Her and ask for Her help. Imagine if understand Jesus so complicated like her and all of her followers. Who can understand Jesus? Only the people who have access to the Pharisees. Common people will be confused and lost. This is why Jesus only said on John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep my commandments." That's simply the 10 commandments. But the Pharisees added hundred more and make it crazy complicated, karma, spirit, Kundalini, etc. Jesus is love and kind and very simple, while human and devil always make things complicated to bring people away from the Bible.
