The Hidden Truth: Microplastics in your Salt and Sugar
A research study conducted by Toxics Link, an environmental organization based in New Delhi, that has discovered the presence of microplastics in all major brands of salt and sugar in india, in both packaged and unpackaged. The study, titled "Microplastics in Salt and Sugar," examined 10 types of salt and five types of sugar sourced from online and local markets, uncovering microplastics in every sample. The findings are shocking-microplastics were detected in every sample, with concentrations ranging from 6.71 to 89.15 pieces per kilogram.
