Because we’re keeping the Commandments he’s going to Attack us. Satan hates the fact that we’re not blind anymore and wants to stop us from remembering the Sabbath. My car broke down once this year, attacked me hard a few months ago mentally and Spiritually, got in an accident a couple of months ago. 😊 Sola Gracia. God is merciful and gracious. He is not legalistic. How about people living on Muslim countries where they worship on Friday and have no offices on Fridays, and they want to worship. God is not cruel but kind. Old testament is a death covenant. Most of the punishment is death. Besides it is the New Covenant is sealed by the Blood of Our Savior Jesus Christ. Old covenant is only a shadow. Even though you all obey the Saturday worship, you cannot be saved, because we need the Holy Spirit. Do you begin with the Spirit and end with the Flesh? In revelation all liars, murderers, covetous, cowards cannot enter the New Jerusalem and Not keeping the Sabbath is not there. Meaning not keeping the Sabbath because the apostles gathered during the First Day of the Week.

If they slap you on your right face, turn the other cheek, if they compel you to carry the load for a mile, carry it for another mile. In the Old commandments it is eye for an eye 👀 and a tooth for a tooth. And we are saved not by the commandments but by the person of Jesus Christ, who gave His life as a ransom for many. Let's always go back to the Garden of Eden. When the snake tempt Eve and Adam, we all died but when Jesus Christ faced the temptations of Satan, He got correct, He was not swayed by Satan, although Jesus was hungry. By one man, humanity died due to Adam's sins, but through Jesus Christ, the second Adam, all was made alive. It's not the commandments that saved us, it was not the commandments who sent The Holy Spirit but it was Jesus Christ., When He ascended to heaven. Jesus Christ came as the Only way to Heaven He knows the Way, He is the only Way, no one else. The Old commandments is only a Shadow of Things to come, if it's a shadow only, there is no tangible body on it., Because it's only a shadow, Jesus Christ is the substance He is the Body. He is the only 🕯️ light that shines on the darkness. He points us to the true Life. I Corinthians 15: 14 We are saved by the Death Burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, not on the commandments that fadeth, because the true Light has come. Even the Israelites, still needs to be saved. Jesus Christ said, you need to be Born Again to enter the Kingdom. Born of water and the Blood. The Roman soldier asked, How can we be saved? The apostle said, BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. There the only requirement is to BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE SAVED. Believe in His Word especially we are Gentiles, the apostles did not require the Gentile Believers but only three things.not to eat the blood, etc. And one more Jesus Christ gave a parable about Lazarus and the Rich man. Lazarus was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom and the rich man was carried to Sheol, Jesus Christ was waited by the Israelites because their Messiah will teach them about all things. Then why are you teaching about soul sleep. Jesus Christ said to the thief on His right hand, " Today, you will be with me in paradise. ,

ESV "I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet," NASB "I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet," KJV "I was in the spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet" NRSV "On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,"NIV There is no biblical evidence that Sunday is the lord's day. The Bible calls only one day as the day that belongs to God. We live in contradictory times. While the governor of Louisiana has passed a law to post the ten commandments on school walls, many preachers teach that the ten commandments no longer need to be kept. The governor lied, because he said the commandments would be posted only as a historical document. Then, after the law passed, he said the commandments should be taught as a guide. So he broke the commandments by lying. And other state leaders are breaking the commandments by telling people that it is ok to steal what they need. As a result, many retail stores had to close. Not wise to turn to corrupt government leaders to enforce religion. Many government leaders don't follow the ten commandments, or understand its principles.

I love this excellent explanation❣️ I shared it. 😀 I didn’t hear anything mentioned about the first four Commandments having to deal with worshiping God; and the last six Commandments having to do with worshiping our fellow man. Because a lot of Christians take “love the Lord thy God with all thine heart…” and “love thy neighbor as thyself” are the two greatest Commandments, as the rule of thumb, but they don’t ever say what this entitles, and how to do just that, when it comes to the 10 Commandments. And we can’t keep the 10 Commandments without the Spirit of God. we must be connected to the Vine to do the works of the Vine-Jesus Christ-John 15:5. Thank you for the video 👍🏼💙🙏🏼

This was an incredibly helpful conversation, thank you! Several years ago, I was studying the Hebrew Roots and attended a regular sabbath day as best I could. That is, until my husband and son expressed their great concern and made it very difficult to continue. I came to the conclusion that perhaps I was doing as the letter to the Galatians stated and putting myself back under the law...so I quit. After listening to this conversation, I have a renewed desire to search the matter out, especially the correct interpretation of "being under the Law", Law vs Grace.

It is very true. The SDA is the true church of God for He told me in His voice, "Just be faithful to the end." I would like to share my experience with God to all if you here. Two yrs ago, I was terribly devastated of my mother's passing. We were all shocked, although, the Holy Spirit told me 2 months beforehand. It happened that we were preparing for my parents' 65th wedding anniversary, and I asked a friend to tailor a gown for her. But my mother disliked the way it was made. So, I examined it and planned how to have it fixed, but then I heard a frisky high pitched voice behind my shoulders saying, "She will wear that to her funeral!" I paused for a moment but, the voice came again saying the same thing. So, I said, "Get out of here Satan. " However, the voice insisted, 2more times. So, I responded, "How? No! My mother is not going to die soon! I got mad...threw away the dress on the floor then I walked out of the room to my bedroom closet to pray. Then, I totally forgot about that experience. Two months later, I took my mother to the emergency room for stomach pain, but she was seriously ill. She was diagnosed of mesenteric ischemia and the infection rapidly took her system down. As a nurse, I knew it was only through God's miracle that she could survive, and so, I couldn't eat. She lasted 5days, and I lost 8lbs in 5 days. I was in distress. The night after she died, I could not sleep but cried till I felt like my chest was tear apart. Then, at 4am a voice reminded me, "You haven't prayed. " Without hesitation, I got up and as I was kneeling, a voice said, "Pray for comfort. " So, I did pray, "Lord this is so difficult to accept losing my mother. Please, give me comfort. Please, please, help me be with my mother again. Please resurrect her when you come back to earth. " Then, I layed back down still begging and crying, but then again I heard a voice right behind my ear. This time, it was a man's voice, low, and calm saying, "Just be faithful to the end. " So, I stopped crying, gazed around my room, and listened but, I didn't hear anything more. Then, I realized it was the voice of God! I couldn't believe it! I was amazed how God came so quickly for my rescue! So, I got up again to pray, thanking God for His mercy and love. After that incredible experience, I may have fallen asleep and woke up contemplating that miraculous experience. Then, suddenly, my forehead tingled from a sound of a violin. It played for a second, and before I could move, it played again. The song was familiar but I couldn't remember the title. So, I prayed again to remind me any words from its lyrics. God directed me to Google, the word, Remind, and the song, Remind Me Dear Lord, came up. It was a song of comfort. On the 3rd day after mom's death, we gathered to make the funeral plans. My oldest sister said, "Mom didn't give us any signs that this is coming..." Suddenly, I remembered the frisky, high pitched voice, I encountered 2 month before, then, I realized, it was the Holy Spirit of God. Then, I got so scared. I realized I failed to recognize it. Therefore, I asked God for forgiveness. Anyway, sorry for the long story. But my point here is that, our church, the SDA Church, is the true church of God. When God told me in His voice, "Just be faithful to the end," it made an impact in me to remove any doubt for I am following the TRUE faith. Otherwise, God must have told me to change and move to another faith. Secondly, this advice, "Just be faithful to the end," is a promise that God will definitely resurrect my mother at the resurrection day and I will be with her again if I will be faithful till He comes. Therefore, my friends let's continue to have a close relationship with God and hold to His promise for He said, "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life. " Revelation 22:10

Yes, Sabbath is a day of rest. The Hebrew word rest simply means to cease from labor. That is what the Bible calls us to do. The Bible also tells that the Sabbath day is a day of Holy Convocation (Leviticus 23:3). So, sabbath is not just a day for one to rest in their house. It is a day for one to come to worship God. Jesus himself went to the synagogue on the sabbath day. So did Paul as well.

Sorry, I couldn't help but to correct one of the statements made. On time 24:50-24:56 he says Constantine changed the Sabbath; I heard that it was actually Ignatius of Antioch who tried changing the Sabbath to Sunday. Just trying to say that it happened before Constantine which many Christians will say, and they are correct. Please do more research for us and provide another video about it with more information. The historical context lies in the fact that Colossians were criticized by outsiders for observing the Lev. 23 festivals. Paul wasn't telling the Colossians that observing them was optional. The correct translations would show Paul telling the Colossians that nobody outside God's Church can judge them for _how_ they were being observed. A bit of history: one of the main reasons the Israelites were brought into Babylonian captivity was because they transgressed the Sabbath. in Jeremiah 17:21-27, the prophet warns the people of Jerusalem to keep the Sabbath holy and warns of destruction if they fail to do so. After the captivity, in the course of many years they exalted the law and kept adding rules and regulations which none of them were able to keep. All this was done to prevent them from ever transgress the law and be sent into captivity. This put a burden on the keeping of the Sabbath with many a rule that were traditions and not what God intended. Jesus came and freed the Sabbath keeping from all those man made burdens. So, from a pharisaical perspective, because Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath, they considered that He broke the Sabbath. See: John 5:8-10,15-16,18 KJV Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. [9] And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. [10] The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. [15] The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. [16] And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. No they did not break up the law in 4 laws, God did it. The ten commandments were written by God Himself on two tables of stones and placed in the ark of the covenant, the rest of the law were written in a book by Moses and placed beside the ark. Why is so hard to understand? After Israel rejected God as their supreme ruller and chose a king instead, there was no death punishment for transgressing the rest of the commands, only for transgressing the moral law, the ten commandments.

The teacher broke it up into segments: date, address, salutation/greeting, body, closing, signature line, carbon copy notation if applicable. If healing and miracles are the evidence of the Holy Spirit’s presence, beware because the Bible tells us that false christs and false prophets will deceive many by performing great signs (Matthew 24:24). The one sure way to know if a person or a church has the Holy Spirit’s guidance is if they follow the truth. We read in John 16:13 that the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth which is the Bible (John 17:17). So if the teachings of a church doesn’t align with the Bible, then that’s wrong. But this doesn’t mean that the Holy Spirit doesn’t with for them. No he does. He is pleasing with all and guides them to the truth. But if a person persistently refuses to listen to the Holy Spirit’s pleasing to the point where they have decidedly taken a stand again God, then that leads to the unpardonable sin.

There are several important factors that we need to consider in answering your question. First is the difference between corporate worship and personal worship. The Bible reserves corporate worship for the Sabbath (Leviticus 23:3). Personal worship can and should be done every day. In fact, the Bible calls us to meditate on God's word every day. Second, in your question, I see a difference. When we talk about Sunday worship, we are referring to When we talk about Sunday worship, we are referring to substitution of the Seventh-day sabbath for Sunday sabbath. The bottom line is that Sunday cannot be the sabbath. We can worship God every day, but not every day cannot be the sabbath. I hope it makes sense. God made a whole other day and blessed it, we wouldn't have a Saturday if God hadn't made it. We worship God every day but the Sabbath is the only day God has blessed. We do not worship the Sabbath, we worship together on the Sabbath.

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the sabbath. As a Christian, if I go to church on Sunday because i like the Bible teaching church, I pray day and night, I read and listen to scripture almost daily. I have a relationship with our Lord and Savior. I believe in keeping the Sabbath Holy, but I myself do not reserve the Lords day... meaning I still work and go about my day. Does that mean I would not enter His Kingdom in Heaven for not keeping that commandment? Thank you

I believe Mark has some very significant points like "how Joseph new that commiting adultery was a sin when the law wasn't even giving to Israel?" Good point for debating. Nevertheless, I strongly disagree with the translation of "the first day of the week" Very eloquently he puts it when reading Acts 20:7, but the reality is about the first of the Sabbath. I understand that definition contradicts some of the 7th day Adventist theology that believe Christ rested on the Sabbath and resurrected on the first day of the week. A deeper study of the Greek in context of every scripture where it reads "first day of the week" you will find reference to the day of pentecost and the counting of the seven Sabbaths (first or one of the Sabbath) except Luke 18:12 where it should read "I fast twice on the Sabbath" May God bless us all with understanding.!

@@HL365 As a Sabbath keeper, I have no problem with the Sabbath; rather, the translation is the source of my problem. In passages such as Act 20:7, where the words "day" and "week" are not found in the original text, the word "Sabbath" (which is in the original text) is substituted for the word "week," and the word "day" is added to give the passage a different meaning. Was "on the first of the sabbath" a mistake in Martin Luther's initial translation of the New Testament, or did he take the time to ensure it was accurate? If Adventists embrace this context, it may cause disarray in their beliefs and Ellen White's writings when she claims that Jesus rested on the Sabbath. Adventists also believe in the Friday cruxifiction and Sunday resurrection, which aren't biblical at all. There is a lot of study that needs to be done in order to go deep into the matter. At that time, everyone knew about the counting of the seven Sabbaths until Pentecost, the 50th day, the only feast that needed to be counted, and Jesus before His ascension told His disciples to " wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father.." (Acts 1:4) They didn't ask when or where, they just gathered together (as usual) on Shavuot (Pentecost). Regarding "the Lord's supper," I would quote Jesus' words, "..do this in rememberance of Me." when? on the fourteenth of Nisan (Passover), not every three months or every week. The day is the same for the celebration, what changes is the meaning, it's no longer the deliverance from slavery in Egypt, but our deliverance from death through His sacrifice for us. Almost forgot.. 1 Co 11:25-26, the word "as often as" (G3740) could also be rendered as "everytime." Nevertheless, it doesn't mean every three months or every day, it means every year, like in this case. Let me quote Polycarp, one of the early Christian writers: "From His Epistle to Victor and the Roman Church Concerning the Day of Keeping the Passover"... "These all kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month, (speaking of Christian martyrs) in accordance with the Gospel, without ever deviating from it, but keeping to the rule of faith." After the Roman Catholic Church started to introduce paganism into the Christian Church, many were in opposition and stood fast in the original faith and belief. Unfortunately and sad to say, the Catholic Church slowly but surely became more in control, introducing things that have affected the original faith through out the years.

Anyone who followed the God that became Christ during the first 4 millennia of human history was technically a Christian. Eph. 2 says that biblical Christianity is based on the writing of the apostles _and prophets_ because it came from the same God. Abel, Moses, Abraham, and all the other faithful figures that lived during those millennia were still followers of the Word, even though He hadn't become Christ yet.
