That head shake he did at the end when she said “we’re gonna build our relationship” warmed my heart. Some people find their birth parents but have been thru so much that they are jaded or angry. Shout out to his adoptive parents for raising a fine young man, giving him space to connect and develop a relationship with his birth mom, and providing him with a quality of life that allowed him to still have an open heart and mind. May this close a painful chapter in mom’s life and begin a great work in and for them both! God has the greatest plan. Amen.

I had my daughter at 17 and thought about adoption and abortion… now 22 years later my daughter is here with me! I am so emotional watching this because I couldn’t imagine if I had made that decision. I couldn’t imagine my life without my daughter. She made me who I am… I was so loss before she came and even for a few years after but I wouldn’t change it for the world. So happy for the both of them and I’m so happy she never gave up ❤

Such a great story. Thank God that man is not bitter or angry and he could b. I didn't see my father for 30yrs and when we finally did see each other at a funeral all my anger disappeared. He has been constantly calling and seeing me for over two yrs now. Great job to his adopted parents for raising him to be a good man.

Apparently a mother knows her own. I pray for the integration into one another lives and each other’s family and friends lives. I understand why social services did what they did but they could have just said “We are unable to disclose that information due to hippa laws” not tell the young man she is dead, if he didn’t have the parents he had that young man could have made a turn for the worse.
