Yes, you (we) must keep going in spite of "the now". Keep going in spite of what we don't see or have... Tell yourself a better feeling story even if when you do you feel better/good for 5-10 minutes. That's 5-10 minutes you're not thinking about/feeling the not good stuff - the crappiness. Keep going! Just do one creative thing for a few minutes and watch how much better you feel in that short time. Sweep your studio, arrange a drawer of your photo files, organize your brushes, doodle a page in your sketchbook...
