In switezerland at age 14 the kids who are not above average in grades go to work. Yes they are tought the standard economic lesson but that is not even close to what their duty as citizens calls for. We have a form of direct democracy and my greatest fear is that the current state of economic litteracy will be the fall of our nation to the corporate powers. Love this TED. Economic litteracy is so deeply needed. Thank you for sharing with the world
