Guys, I can’t stress enough how good your tênis videos are. They’re dense ,extremely well edited and full of useful information. It’s almost like godfather: each view and review i grab some new useful information to improve my game. Since I’ve started watching your videos my moves has greatly improved in consistency, power and spin. Pain? Mostly gone ! Keep up the good work and a big THANK YOU from Brazil! Ps: could you guys make a video about two handed backhand and the nuances between flatter and spin shots on it?

Fab Fab Fab video guys. You put in at least 15 mins of content in a 5 mins video! As a senior citizen (relative to you youngsters at least), I had to slow it down and watch it twice to absorb everything, And as I write, I think I should watch it twice more just to be sure! Well done guys. Great energy, Great content, Great video.

There are so many great insights in this video, some of which I've found out myself over the years that I wished somebody told me when I started. F.inst. the importance of the shoulder tilt/torso angle, and how that should vary dependent on the shot. Which made much more sense to me than focusing on keeping the non hitting arm high (which happen naturally if you have the proper torso angle). Also great stuff about keeping the big muscle groups connected to the arm, and that a correct follow through is a natural result of doing things right (before the follow through). Great stuff, thanks.

For the first time I am able to handle high balls at ease, I was bringing my racquet high and then swinging rather than following a vertical swing path, so basically you can start your racquet below the ball actually well below and still be able to ripper as long as your racquet swing bath remains vertical for heavy top spin, thanks a lot lot that helped Cuz its so accurate for real

Great video guys. What could you say about options like lifting (on the toes or in the air) for high balls and tilting back when really pushed (to hit a semi-lob maybe)? Both allow to keep arm below shoulder level without getting to weaker shoulder position you describe.
@RacquetFlex6 жыл бұрын
That is an excellent point, Anton. In fact, we made a video previously on the reverse forehand, which is specifically designed for that purpose (raising your body to the point of contact). This video was intended to show how to hit the balls when you have no other choice but to hit the ball from that often uncomfortable position.

While I am usually unconscious of it, my grip will often be more eastern on the low ball compared to the high ball.

@@RacquetFlex for the grip, do you consider also the effect on the received high ball (spin, flat, or sliced)? Or u just go through what ever the effect? High speed neutralises sometimes the effect.

Interesting video. As usual, lots of good topics covered. Maybe for future videos: Nearly all of the examples show a jump swing, but there is no discussion of jumping. Also, the Federer example shows him jumping so his shoulder line points down to the ball (leveling out after contact) but there is no discussion of that method.
