Just listening to it makes you think of the world as it *should* be: Boys turning into young men on the fields of hard-fought, but honest competition, fathers and mothers and siblings standing on the sidelines cheering them on with well-merited pride, and the old men enthralling the youngsters with their memories of the heroes of yesteryear. The world can change all it likes, they can pass all the laws they like, but somewhere, there is a land where Old Ireland still lives, and the well-worn Tradition plays out as it ever has. I really love this Song, not just the melody is beautiful, it's the content too, well the melody and so on is really amazing too, but I think the main thing is the content. I was in Ireland twice and want to go there again this year. When driving there I always heard and will hear again the High Kings ♥ Ireland is such a beautiful Land, and your Music describes it perfectly. Just saying...
