How the mighty fall! I've seen many Richard Crenna movies, but this is such a diversion from his usual portrayals. One must hand it to him: he plays out his obsession unbelievably well; addiction to this woman costs him everything & his downfall is merely a question of time & akin to the walls closing in on him. So wrapped up in his academic work for so long, he needed an outlet, but, regrettably, failed to find the right one. A sad tale in the making which ought to serve as one hell of a warning to all. Many thanks for the upload 👍.

Both Professor Douglas and Robin could not accept that actions have consequences. Robin thought that she could exploit the professor's obsession without consequences. The professor thought that he could exploit the university and control Robin without consequences. They both felt that they had complete control over each other and the situation but in the end they didn't and they both had to face the consequences of their actions.

Great movie nice acting as i can tell from the obsession of the bf. Had one and didn't leave me alone until fate decided to end it and he died in a car accident so sad but was horrible to go though such things
