The High Priest's Palace | A Minecraft Castle Timelapse

The old palace was far too small and accessible to the public. The new palace was much grander and offered a respite for the High Priest. The new palace sits on a cliff over the river. A large covered bridge provides entrance from the cathedral. The new palace has three distinct parts. The larger wings host the main entrances as well as the public reception and event rooms. This area houses the ballroom, courtyards, servant quarters, and library. The second part is the private residence for the High Priest. It offers additional privacy and an escape from the rest of the palace. While still large it is dwarfed by the other buildings. It features gardens, walkways, and privacy. The last component is the large keep. The ancient stronghold with six towers overlooking the rest of the complex was original to the site and had the palace built around it. This piece offers protection in the event of a siege or civil unrest.
