the taste is more bitter and smell is stronger for this black gold musang king..why called black gold musang king?..its because they are grown on hill side...the roots are stronger and the trees healthier..because on hill side..water drain faster..the roots are not immersed in water like flat land musang king..that is why more expensive..

I had the same experience with my wife when eating Black Gold Musang King: We did't talk but just kept eating and enjoying it. My parents are Kampung (village) people and have been eating only Kampung durians all their lives. When I bought some Black Gold Musang KIng for them, they also displayed the same behavior when they tried it. They both kept quiet and kept on eating, until they finished the whole bucket load. For real man this durian.. no joke.

She is an American who also loves durian so much and now she is chasing durian seasons all year long around South East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Borneo, etc). Currently she's stuck somewhere in a durian farm in Thailand due to COVID-19. Her name is Lindsay Gasik and she has been in this durian quest since 2011. In a way, she has become so expert in durian knowledge even the locals cannot beat her. Cooking oil / coconut oil is a good solvent for cempedak latex. 油はラテックスガムの良い溶媒です Rub your fingers with oil and wait for 1-2 minutes. Clean off the latex with paper tissue.

It took me over many tries before having the chance to experience a specimen as amazing as theirs. If you're a durian aficionado, it's best to eat the fruits that had dropped fresh (within 1 hour) from its tree in the farm.

black gold musang king is a specialty of durian farmers of the pahang state...Penang, where you guys eat durian in the earlier video is actually far from Pahang but Kuala Lumpur is located very close to the durian orchard in Pahang.
