I have fond memories of this course on PS2 when we had to laboriously input a post round code into a badly designed EA web page. I remember you, @TheApexHound and many others still playing from back then, I was RedShirtTiger. Highlands was the last ever tournament they held before killing the server and I had shot a 23 or something which would have put me on top of the leaderboard, but the site died 4 or 5 hours early. Still salty, in case you couldn't tell.

So happy this is in the game now. This is by far my favorite fantasy course in the franchise. I like the changes that have been made to it, specifically with hole 12 becoming more accessible. Shot -2 with Master 3-Click, it’s a fun challenge!

Apex you should try playing without the yardage/elevation info ; makes things a bit more challenging. Its doesnt make it much harder on the greens as you can just count 3.5ft per box but from the fairway/on approach it can get interesting...

The Highlands is one of those Fantasy Courses where players are heavily encouraged to be at a high level before even attempting to go at it: On my Master Save of PGA Tour 'I4 (MHE), I currently have my Foursome (Roya Rockwood (All~Around), Ashley Lea Belair (Speed/Power), Luna Marie (Tactical), and Cait Fairbanks (Endurance)) between Level 08I and 086, amazingly a session of this course on Stableford with Breezy conditions (Wind Speed is in the Teens, measured in Kilometers per Hour) is still brutal even this late into getting everybody to Max Stats and one is incredibly lucky if they manage to get anything above -07 for a final score; during my Fantasy Course Dry Run back in July and August, Ashley had a +02 going into Hole 0I6, the wind was enough to cause her to Scratch the last Three and knock her score into a Three Way Draw for Second Place at -07, Cait ultimately won the venue with a -03 and truly showed how important Endurance (capability to recover from the Heavy Rough and Bunker) matters more than simply brute force Driving and Swing Power. There are two core details that one must note about The Highlands in this era, both of which I have noted in the past on here and elsewhere: ~ Hole 08 is normally a Par 04 in most incarnations during the Tiger Woods Era; one of the sole exceptions is in PGA Tour 'I2, where it was restructured into a Par 05 due to a potential coding oversight, this made it essential for Experience Grinding because of how easy it is to get a Double Eagle from the Red and it is one of the rare instances where a course was inadvertently made easier because nobody anticipated this incredibly minor yet major change. ~ Hole 0II is an interesting one on Gale Force winds (High 030s to Mid~040s on the Metric System), you can potentially get what I refer to as an Ultimate Drive (0400 Meters or Better) in 'I4 if you get a delicately positioned Forward~moving wind when firing from the Black and you will have sent the ball up to 085% of the way to the Green on your best setup; on Max Stats, a Green in One can also happen on this hole, but the chances of that are very slim, would be nice to compare the game on the older engines and see how easy it is to approach under this specific condition. (:
