The Highwayman starring Guy of Gisborne and Marian of Knighton (BBC Robin Hood)

This was a project I undertook for one of my classes, after rediscovering the BBC's Robin Hood series. I've always had a soft spot for Richard Armitage's Guy of Gisborne, and Lucy Griffiths' Marian of Knighton, and for me, they were the only couple worth watching in the show. Their dynamic was fascinating, and they had a great deal of chemistry.
I've borrowed them to create the Highwayman and Bess for Alfred Noyes' ballad, sung, in this version, by Loreena Mckennitt, and I think they work quite well! My Year 8 class seemed to agree...

Absolutely stunnung! I loved the way you used the scenes to tell the song's story. It fit so well and what a lovely song! Richard and Lucy had such good chemistry, it's a shame he didn't play Robin Hood, but I think his Guy is the best ever and Richard is such a fine actor that no one else could play him the way he did. I discovered this not long after you, fayzabeam, posted it. I absolutely loved it! I discovered it, and saved the link, on my work computer. Having left that place in 2013, I let the memory lapse; when it came to mind a couple of days ago, I was determined to find it again. It was such a great pleasure to discover it again.
