THE HIJAB CHALLENGE | AUSTRALIA |

After setting up a "Try the Hijab" stall on campus, we set out to see what Australian women thought of the Islamic garment after trying it on for themselves. The responses were truly inspiring.
This experiment was conducted by Macquarie University Muslim Students Association (MUMSA) as part of their 2014 Islamic Awareness Week.

Amazing video!! I've seen more than one video about Islam and Australia and I've met some Muslims that live there, all i can say is WOW Australians are really amazing i hope more people out there would be like them, thank you for not listening to what mainstream media says about us, thank you for simply being open minded.

Aww, this video was just lovely and inspiring. We need more ladies like the ones that participated in the video, people with open minds. Experimental people who are ready to try out new things rather then be afraid or blindly follow misconception of what they don't really understand. I wore the hijab through part of grade 12 because I have a Muslim friend.. I think it's a great idea to get used to them before travelling to to any Muslim countries.
