That’s an expensive toolbox with no real standout features. There are much better options available in UK at more competitive price point. You certainly love your toolboxes and great to see the different types you find

Love the green colour , perfect for my fishing tackle and easy to transport to lake side or river bank methinks ….could sit on it too save carrying a seat……would probably need a Shadowfoam seat cover though for extra comfort.😅

The only prices that mean anything on eBay are those at which items have actually been bought. I've sometimes seen utterly ludicrous list prices on there, as much as 1,000s of times higher than they should be, and suspect it's meant to skew the averages or elevate perceived value for when they're listed more realistically. This Hikoki looks attractive and reasonably strong, but those side clips don't seem to offer much purchase, looked like only room for the narrowest tips of fingers. Also thanks for pointing out they cheaped out on the wheels, might not be obvious to buyers relying on photos. I wonder how they decided on that cord entry point position? It'll only allow small connectors, so a detachable cord, and you'd have to route it past any tools inside. If I was going to include cable entry, I'd go wih a simple notch and grommet strip on the top edge, perhaps mated to another on the lid underside for environmental protection. In fact, this would be an easy DIY mod to most boxes. I really appreciate your honest and detailed examination of tools and storage systems, best I've seen by far. If only you also sold them, with a showroom!

Its just these three boxes though, so it seems a little restrictive in what else is available even in just the UK market, let alone the larger European / US markets.

The colours and design are desirable but the price is mental. Did someone forget to use an exchange rate when advertising? The side walls looked quite flimsy in comparison to others? Would love to come to your site and check out all the variations of tool box.
