The Hillforts Of Sudargas 🇱🇹

I went on a trip to Sudargas, a small village not too far away from Jurbarkas.
If you are in the area, it's worth stopping off here. The views over the Nemunas are quite impressive, and the history of the place is pretty interesting too!
As always, I try to be as accurate as I can be with the facts I include - if you hear something which doesn't sound quite correct, please let me know! 😁
I don't know why I called it the Great Dukedom of Warsaw and not the Grand Duchy of Warsaw... sometimes you get information directly from a source and then realise the name doesn't quite sound right afterwards!

From the video, this place you are showing reminds me of a place I went a couple of years ago in Lithuania called 'Kernavė' - it has hill forts too and overlooks one of the rivers!

My grandfather is from a village near Sudargas. Really beautiful and special place.

It's lovely - you can actually see Sudargas from Smalininkai which I didn't know before
